Green Lantern vs Sinestro is the latest expansion for the DC Deck Building spinoff, Rivals. And it is fantastic! It's actually slightly better then the first 'Rivals' game, Batman vs Joker! G vs S adds a tons of much needed THEME (something the DC games have been seriously lacking) to the DC line of games.Many of the cards have faction now have 'faction symbols' (Green Lanterns vs Yellow Lanterns) on them that give the player a slight bonus to acquire and play cards of the same faction! Also, even the base cards (punch, weaknesses, etc) have thematic artwork that allow players to have their starting decks composed completely of either Green or Yellow Lantern cards! A very nice touch! The location cards are also exclusively drawn from the GL comics.Green Lantern vs SInestro also has a new deck of 'Construct' cards that reflect (no pun untended) the light abilities of the various colored rings! VERY cool! The constructs represent using green and yellow light to create things like walls, shields, fists and even missiles! Awesome stuff! There are a whole set of cards in this expansion that allow players to acquire these constructs and chain them to do amazing attacks and other powers! Very thematic!This set is a MUST OWN for fans of The Green Lantern, the DC Deck Building Game and for fans of the Rivals spin off! It's a MANDITORY purchase for fans of the DC Confrontations spin off as well! Just like the Batman vs Joker Rivals made that game perfect, G vs S makes DC Confrontations a fantastic game.GET THIS! Me and my friends found this easy to understand how to play and very enjoyable with just one of the base sets or even when we started integrating the expansion packs! Very versatile and has a lot of freedom in being able to custom the game you want with your favorite cards.Simple base system for beginners and with each expansion pack it adds a new optional gameplay mode! You can play the same way or you can change game modes, you can do versus with friends, or fight against the campaign, or team up with friends against other friends or co-op in the campaign story. There's so much to enjoy here, and the best part is that you could just buy any of the base sets and still just enjoy that without needing to get any other expansions.Will be playing this with my groups of friends for many years to come. Looking forward to the new Dark Nights: Metal expansion coming this year (2020) too! Also shows there's a lot of support from the creators and fans along the years. Hope they keep adding more expansions and base sets etc.!

Love the art and design. Quality cards. Encompasses the whole DC world of characters. Fun to play. A lot if additional packs to keep collecting. Thank you.

This Rivals expansion is a great addition to the game. The Lantern cards from Heroes Unite and Crisis 2 are some of my favorites, I’m glad we have a whole deck for the lanterns.I do have to mention, that depending on your shuffle, it’s very easy for Sinestro to dominate the game if he gets a strong start. Because his deck is so Attack oriented and many cards are triggered just by attacking, it can be difficult for the Green Lantern player to catch up, as during each of Sinestro’s turns he discards, gains weaknesses, or uses a defense, meaning less power next turn, as those cards are typically discarded in use.Overall a fun expansion with fantastic art. But you may find it less balanced than earlier expansions.

The game came in perfect shape, still sealed, nothing missing. The gameplay is just as good as Batman V. Joker, with hero working to defeat villain and villain working to pwn hero - with in some assisting villains, some vigilant heroes coming in to assist, a bunch of cool tech devices and superpowers.

This game is amazing. Compared to the Dc Rivals Batman vs Joker, this one is a lot faster than it. The games for this usually come down to the last hero rather than victory points. The game switches it up by adding new cards called "constructs" that combo off your hero or other cards in the game. Although this game can be mixed with other game variations, i believe its best for a stand-alone 1v1 because of the way the cards combo off each other. The artworks is still amazing as always and hope they continue to make more Rival games.

I enjoy the DC deck building game and this was no exception.

Fantastic two player card game. It takes a strong will to win as a Green Lantern! You must overcome great fear in order to wield the ring foraged by the guardians. You can take the easier path of fear as a member of the Sinstro Corps.

DC Deck Building Games are great!! Have the other Rivals games and find this more fun to play.

Excelente variante para 2 personas de la versión original DC deck building game. Es fácil de aprender a jugar. Las partidas duran más que el promedio de juegos pero es completamente adaptable a diferentes formas de juego. Lo mejor es que es compatible con la versión anterior de batman vs joker.
