If you have used Bergner Argent series, you would know that the platinum series is a copy, down to the handle. And cost almost the same (not in India though; the legacy and all, you know, from the 1950s). Unlike Bergner though, these do use nickel (if your stainless steel takes on a dark hue after some uses or cracks with repeated heating and cooling, as is normal for a cookware, you have nickel in it; the earlier this happens, the more nickel you have (eaten)). At the quality on offer, at least for those sold online, and at least on Amazon, these are not worth the money you spend on them.I also have their wok from this series bought a little earlier. As I have noted in another review, items sold on Amazon seem to be factory seconds, if from a reputed company, which didn’t pass the QC and somehow ended up with online sellers who sell it at a bigger margin than the physical factory seconds sale/outlet. This one had a small dent on the rim out of the box and the handle has started to lose its “mirror finish” after a few uses. Since the handle is separate from the pan itself, not coming in contact with whatever I cook in it, this is not an issue but still need to be noted. This didn’t happen with the wok though, which now has rainbows on the cooking surface. I know you cannot use high heat on stainless steel utensils (or dry heat them). However, the default power setting on my induction cooktop for sautéing is 1100 watts and as a wok it should be ok with that. Clearly it’s not.So, in a nutshell, don’t buy cookware online as you are very likely to land a defective one. Don’t go for replacements for any item unless you have no choice (and it is wiser to get refund instead, if possible; Amazon doesn’t mention what is possible though when you place an order and you’ll know only when you actually try a return, so good luck with that). They are always, in my experience, three times out of three times, worse than the first piece and refurbed, not original. While with corona around, the delivery times have expanded, the return window still remains the old one. For the first replacement this is not an issue but if you are unfortunate enough to get a second replacement, you are then unfortunate enough to have stuck with it as the return window will have closed by the time your second replacement arrives.

The insulation on the handle is poor. After boiling water or milk the handle cannot be used to lift the pan hence the rating.

Good, sturdy and really worth it. And, its 20 cm in diameter.

Not correct size, just can have one ltr of liquid in it. Also the milk does stick to tbe inner body and not at all eazy to clean even in dishwasher.

Good quality, easy to clean, enough for 2or 3 people. must-have for kitchen
