The bamboo material is nice, very smooth and looks nice. I had trouble with assembly because the holes didn't quite line up right and it forced the screws to go in slightly crooked, so they got harder and harder to drive in the further in they went. Some of the screws were plain impossible to get all the way in, so I took them out and just used clear packing tape to attach the pieces. It's also a bit small for books like shown in the pictures. But I'm using it for desk organization at work and it's serving that purpose just fine.

Bought this to use on my nightstand, which was getting way too cluttered with books and other things. It's been the perfect solution, especially since it can be adjusted to fit whatever the space requires. It's made from very sturdy material and it was very easy to assemble. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  i had my difficulties trying fb to assemble this shelf but it’s overall gorgeous love the spacing definitely recommend!

I love this shelf unit!! I needed something to organize the coffee, tea, hot cocoa, etc. that we keep on the counter behind our coffee maker. I bought this shelf unit along with another one with a similar design but a bit bigger. This one has boards that are a tad thinner than the other one I bought but these boards are solid wood and still very sturdy. I have it extended out about as far as it will go to just under 24". I had no issues with assembly at all. It took me all of about 15-20 minutes to assemble, so super simple and easy. All of the holes were lined up properly so it went together perfectly and sits flat and stable. It holds way more than I thought so I was able to also store a few other things we usually have hanging out on the counter. I absolutely love it and couldn't be happier!!

This product was pretty straight forward to assemble and they even include a screw driver and a couple of extra screws. One does need to look at each board carefully to ensure that the side with the counter sunk drilling is on the outside of the unit. I could easily see someone not paying attention and then having the screw heads not being flush with the bamboo. That said, placing drop of liquid soap on the tip of each screw and taking the extra moment to ensure that the screws were aligned with the pre-drilled holes will assure ease in assembly. From the time I cracked the box open to placing the unit on my desk took under eight minutes.

I bought two white sets of these shelves for my bedroom. They were easy to assemble and they look great!

I like the sturdiness of the shelves, although you can't tell from the image that the screws will be visible.

I really like this. Holds my stationary and is very convenient.
