This seems like a classy, good looking, well-made piece of kit. All the functions I have tried so far work well and it’s a good one-stop-shop for legacy connections.It can get a bit warm in use and you wonder about wasting battery life on your laptop.An improvement would be to have a storable connection wire that didn’t stick out in transport.

I bought this product because it was small and a replacement for my big docking station that is used to work with dual screen in my MacBook Pro. Problems found: Ethernet port never used and the first time I opened the small lid I notice that it was broken and useless (see attached picture). Don't work in OSX with dual extended screen, only in Clone mode. When I tried to do a RMA to repair at least the Ethernet port I notice that I had only 3 months to do that on Amazon. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Am using with HP Spectre and works great. I do get a message about using original HP power adapters when plugging my HP adaptor through this, but it still charges so I'm ok with it. Does get hot as others have said, but works fine and has been for a couple of months.

Get's warm, but not too hot. Works perfectly and hot-swaps well.Using it as a docking station and fab so far. Monitor, ethernet, power, USBs etc all working fine.My only grip is the lack of screws for the VGA - that would have been good.

Plugging this from my Dell Latitude trying to extend to my two HDMI monitors, the displays blank out then reset themselves at irregular intervals between 1-3 minutes of working.Doesn't seem up to the task. Laptop has no issues powering one HDMI monitor at exactly the same resolution or even two via the setup in my office (which uses a Dell usbc adaptor)Others may have found this to be great but in my experience, I'm sending mine back as it doesn't do what it should.

Loving this product, I fits nicely unless you have a case so beware, I had to intentionally break my case to get it to fit which wasn't a problem.

Product was fine when on and working with it. However, when my laptop was in sleep mode or off then this device would continue to drain the battery, so it would need to be unplugged when not in use. Hence, not ideal. Then it stopped working after 2 months.

Les ports USB-C sont rares sur les nouvelles versions de Macbook pro 2017. Grâce à cet adaptateur, une seule prise est utilisée pour l'alimentation, la connexion réseau (Gbits), la video (HDMI) et trois prises USB-3.0. Je l'ai intensément testé aujourd'hui (reçu hier) et toute la connectique a fonctionné comme un charme. En particulier, le fait qu'il soit alimenté est une bonne chose, car ça lui permet de supporter l'alimentation de disques durs externes USB sans problème. Allumé toute la journée, il était légèrement chaud en soirée. Mais rien de bien grave. J'ignore s'il va durer dans le temps, mais la première impression est extrêmement positive.Mise à jour: j'avais besoin de faire sortir le HDMI sur un écran avec entrée DVI. Impossible de faire marcher le câble HDMI->DVI avec ce dock. Pour info le câble marche parfaitement sur un autre adaptateur.Deuxième mise à jour: le dock est branché sur le secteur avec un chargeur de 87W... Et il fournit en entrée du mac seulement 49W !! Ce qui provoque une charge très lente et souvent incomplète de la batterie !! Donc branchez votre mac directement au secteur !

Le produit est très bien fini et les connectiques sont de bonne qualité MAIS le produit chauffe à tel point qu'avec simplement une souris USB Bluetooth connectée, je l'ai débranché après une heure d'utilisation car je n'arrivais quasiment plus à poser la main dessus tellement il était chaud.Je n'ai même pas essayé de brancher un disque externe dessus. Il est trop tard pour l'échanger malheureusement.Les capacités de dissipation thermiques ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur du besoin de toute évidence. Je me demande même s'il répond aux normes en la matière. Dommage.

Il prodotto di per se ha una qualità accettabile, proporzionata a ciò che costa. Il vero grande problema è che, una volta collegato, causa disturbi al bluetooth ed alle reti wifi vicine. Questo vuol dire che mouse, cuffie, connessione ad internet e quant'altro saranno estremamente lenti e soprattutto INSTABILI. Tutto questo è dovuto ad una pessima schermatura del dispositivo. Ho contattato il venditore, ma non ri è reso assolutamente disponibile a trovare una soluzione congrua.

Schlank, Farbe passt klasse zu spacegrau von Apple. Macht EIGENTLICH was es soll, wenn da nicht ein mittelschweres ABER dazukommen würde, was sehr schwer wiegt. Sobald ich den Hub in mein MacBook Pro stecke setzt die MacBook Wifi-Antenne sofort aus, und das w-lan funktioniert nicht mehr. Das ist sehr ärgerlich!Ich vermute, dass das gegebenenfalls mit der nicht vorhandenen Abschirmung der Hubs zu tun hat. Sprich, wenn man den Hub im W-LAN betreiben möchte: zumindest bei mir ; keine Chance.

Un ottimo prodotto fà il suo lavoro su tutte le porte anche se sul mio HP x2 che ha un uscita video anche esterna di tipo Micro HDMI la parte Video HDMI e VGA non viene neanche vista, non ho capito se è per questo motivo o se dovrei fare qualche cosa per farla funzionare. Nei vari feedback pare che il PC dovrebbe vedere la scheda Video in automatico senza alcun driver esterno, ma nel mio caso non viene rilevata neanche. A parte questo tutto il resto fà il suo lavoro, anche la ricarica passante dal connettore USB-C funziona correttamente.

When it first arrived, the unit worked as expected. I was able to connect to a VGA projector in a board room and the HDMI monitor at my desk. However, like many other reviewers have mentioned, this unit runs hot. Ultimately, I think this is what caused my adaptor to fail last week. It is now completely fried after only 6 weeks of daily use. Maybe it was designed to do spot duty--pull it out of a laptop bag and use it for a presentation--but for the price, I expected it to simply work all day long, every day. I would not recommend this unit.

L'ho acquistato per il rapporto ingressi/prezzo. Ha d'avvero un sacco di possibilità differenti (sd, micro sd, hdmi, vga, usb 3.0), e in effetti con questo accessorio annulli il problema dei nuovi mac che hanno solo USB C. Ho riscontrato però problemi con il surriscaldamento. Praticamente quando è troppo caldo inizia a scollegare un pò tutto. Questo succede facilmente se magari d'estate lo usi in maniera intensiva spostando tanti file da usb, se poi hai anche collegato l'hdmi è la fine.Lavorando spesso con proiettori e presentazioni, sono stato costretto ad acquistare l'adattatore originale apple, che costa molto di più, ha molte meno porte, ma fino ad ora mi ha evitato brutte figure davanti al pubblico.

l'adattatore è arrivato con un giorno di anticipo.La confezione era sigillata e l'Hub corrisponde esattamente alla descrizione. Provato con un notebook asus ZenBook Pro UX550VD è stato riconosciuto immediatamente senza bisogno di driver o altro. Le varie porte funzionano perfettamente anche collegando più dispositivi contemporaneamente e non riscalda eccessivamente.L'HUB è ben costruito ed è di dimensioni contenute. bisognerà verificare la durata nel tempo, ma fin ora direi trattasi di un ottimo prodotto.

After few weeks using my feedback only gets worse.It works well when the power cable is connected to it. However, gets a lot of heat that impacts on the product efficiency.Without the power cable connected to it has some issues with multiple devices. I had issues about losing power in my iPhone X when I had HDMI, mouse and iPhone X connected to the device (all with original apple cables). Also after a week using all day, last Friday the HDMI port seems like to had a problem. I thought was my monitor had died but today it's working fine. Seems like the heat problem is more serious than I thought. It blinks so hard and so frequent that makes impossible to work with.Also it gets hot, significantly. For few hours it will work very good. For long time it may have issues with heat affecting the ports.I don't recommend buy this product to use it daily. It only works for short periods of time. Useless for day work.

Da non comprare.Ho acquistato questo accessorio perché le porte video VGA e HDMI del connettore multiplo che avevo non funzionava più.Quando è arrivato l'ho provato e funzionava. Ma ha funzionato solo per pochi giorni poi ha, definitivamente, smesso.Per ora ho risolto con un accessorio Usbc-vga che avevo già ma devo portare con me gli altri connettori/adattatori.

Bastante caro para lo que es. El acabado es bueno y cuando funciona va muy bien. El problema es que 1 de cada 3 veces al enchufarlo se enciende pero no da señal y tienes que desenchufarlo y volverlo a enchufar. Además al poco rato se calenta bastante y da la impresion de que no durará mucho a esa temperatura.

Der Adapter war nur wenige Male im Einsatz. Nach nun 8 Monaten findet er plötzlich meinen Bildschirm entweder gar nicht mehr oder stellt nur ein verzerrtes Bild da. Und leider gibt es keine Amazon Support Funktion bei diesem Artikel. 40€ dafür, dass er nur 3-4 Mal benutzt wurde und nun nicht mehr funktioniert ist eine Frechheit. Ich hoffe, dass der Herrsteller sich meldet und einen Ersatz oder Rücknahme anbietet.

The idea of this device is fantastic, but unfortunately this item would appear to have some flaws. Firstly, it gets very hot after only an hour of being connected. So hot in fact, that I feel a hot pad should be placed under it for safety. Secondly, after plugging in an external monitor along with my new MacBook through the device, it would then not allow a wireless mouse to charge at the same time. Finally, after about 12 days, the VGA input failed, and now I can no longer connect my VGA monitor to my computer through this device.
