The only (or one of the few) top grain leather NATO straps
I bought it because - on Amazon - I cannot find a top grain leather NATO strap. The other I was able to find were genuine leather (which is an inferior quality).I like it, as noted by others it is thin enough to pass between the spring bars and the case.It is comfortable to wear and honestly I don't have complains about the leather keepers.Though some say they are not strong enough to last, I think they give the strap a better/peculiar look: for scuba diving I won't use a leather NATO strap anyways.By the way, in the and I bought another one in a different color for another watch

Good quality strap
Nice soft feel to the leather; it's clearly genuine, good-quality stuff. The buckle appears solid and certainly looks smart with its chromed plating. Colour is very close to the display/description. Overall, this brand would definitely be my first choice when looking for a replacement strap in the future.

A reasonable strap at a sensible price.
Wears well. I went for shorter length which is just about okay for me with a 175mm wrist. The leather is soft but feeding through lugs a little tighter and less flexible than nylon type strap. Feels comfortable on and looks cool for the price which is very fair for what you get.

Form over function possibly? Confirmed!
First this product looks great and is very comfy, it’s easy to fit and out of the box looks great quality. There is one major issue though, durability. The strap is starting to show significant wear after one week of use and I suspect won’t last very long before those looks becoming ruined. I appreciate leather products are considered consumable but clearly this rate of wear isn’t normal.I’m afraid this watch strap however nice maybe a case of form over function.A real shame as I loved it out of the packaging.Update: After 2 months the strap is looking VERY tatty and I’ve had to buy a new on from a different supplier. Was comfortable but look awful after a relatively short time.

Nice strap, but thickness of leather made it impractical for most of my watches.
I’ve bought several Barton NATO straps as the standard length is great. I don’t normally buy NATOs as they are too long - I hate tucking the extra strap under the keeper.I therefore bought one of the leather straps described as ‘standard length’ assuming it would be identical length to the NATO straps - it’s actually longer.Nice leather though, great colour. However, I own 30 watches and it probably only fits under the spring bars of three, it’s just too thick to squeeze through. Yes I could probably take the spring bars out and fit, but that takes away the point of being able to swap straps quickly. In addition I could not adjust the strap to fit without the buckle being way over one side. Also, the strap, not being that flexible sticks out from the lugs by an appreciable amount, too far for me.I solved the buckle placement and the thickness at the lugs by cutting off the extra flap, making it a single pass strap. This doesn’t of course solve the issue with it only fitting watches with quite a big gap between case and spring bar.I’d add after wearing it maybe 20 times; lots of fibres appearing from the edge of the strap. Pretty unsightly and I’ve not had this on any other leather strap, even cheap ones. Ran a razor down the sides to shave off the fibres, not sure if this will work long term.

Leather Nato Strap.
The leather is a bit thinner than expected. However this helps it fit properly with it being a nato strap.
