I can't seem to get the unit to connect/play with my smart TV. Any suggestions?

Will this unit remove copy guard from vhs tapes when you copy them to dvd?

The only tapes I recorded on were blank and then re-copied over, however, I believe there is a tab you can remove on the vhs that we allow you to copy over it!!!

It will play DVD not record. It playas and records on VHS tape. Thanks.

All i get with dvd play is disc error unable to read disc ???

I find some time the laser reader get dust or dirt sometime cleaning the disc work. Also some of the place that repair the vcr/dvd combo can repair it. They can clean the disc and this take care of it.
