PowRyte 3/8-Inch Air Impact Wrench

I opened the shipping box it came in, it was packed ok with the pillow padding. I reached for a knife to cut the tape but it had already been cut. I removed the impact from its box and notice the instruction bag wasn't sealed and found a dirty fingerprint on it. I examined the impact and the bell housing had scuff marks from being lowered to the ground by the air hose. I installed a high flow fitting, a few drops of air tool oil and squeezed the trigger...nothing. I turned the drive by hand and it started up but I could stop it with my hand. Disassembled the unit and only a few of the vanes were free to move. Cleaned everything up and relubed but the air coming out was still rusty brown. It took me four times of disassembly, cleaning and reassembly to work right. Shame on you for sending me someone else's return that didn't work. I should back charge YOU for fixing it! At least provide me a rebuild kit at no cost...who knows now how long the rear gasket will last now. AND being a Prime member, it took three days to get here...

Bought this for my pancake compressor overlooking all the reviews that the compressor won’t work with it or run out of air too fast, so I decided to use it to rotate my tires and I must admit that it worked great! Not only was I able to remove all 4 tires in under 10 minutes, there was still plenty of air left. Depending on what your use case is, for the money it’s well worth it.
