Blackstone® 36 inch Griddle Cover

I picked this cover up to protect my outdoor griddle, and so far I’m really happy with it. It fits my Blackstone-style flat top grill very well and covers the entire unit, including the sides and wheels, which is important since it sits outside on my deck. The material feels thick and durable, not like the thin covers that tear after a few months. It also seems weather-resistant, which is a big plus because we get a lot of rain where I live. After a couple of storms, everything underneath stayed dry. I also like that it’s easy to put on and remove. Some grill covers are stiff and awkward, but this one slides over the grill easily and stays in place without constantly shifting. What I liked: • Durable, heavy-duty material • Full coverage for the grill and base • Helps keep the griddle clean between uses • Easy to take on and off Overall, if you keep your grill outdoors and want something that helps protect it from the elements, this cover does the job well and seems like it will hold up over time.

Edited: After a full summer, winter & spring, this cover held up outside in extreme weather and temps, and looks fantastic compared to other covers I purchased for BBQs, patio furniture, pizza ovens, etc. I’m impressed that it didn’t seem to fade at all, and still feels rock solid. I think it’s a good purchase and a quality product. One product after a season just disintegrated and tore easily while putting it on or taking it off. Not this one. Original: First thing I noticed was the weight of the product. After removing from the plastic bag, the 2nd thing I noticed was the thickness and quality of the material. It is rated as 600D, so you’d expect these things. It fits my 36” blackstone perfectly, with a lid and side tables extended. Nothing get snagged and is simple enough to put on and remove. I think the value is there this far, I can’t talk to durability yet because I haven’t had it so long but as I generally do, I will come back and make an update one way or the other. I just replaced a cover for my pizza oven that I’ve only had since April, not even 6 months. I hardly used that oven, maybe 4 times where I removed and put it back on only to have it literally tear and disintegrate as I was putting it back on. The slightest adjustment (nothing snagged) caused it to rip just off the seam. I had to purchase a new cover for that, this time I went with 600D as well. I have to wait a while before I can really assess the durability, but I can feel the toughness and thickness difference right away. If you have a blackstone, you need this cover. Dont waste your time with cheaper versions.

I picked up the Blackstone 36 Inch Griddle Cover for my Blackstone and it fits perfectly. The adjustable clips on the sides are a nice touch because they help keep the cover secure, especially during windy days. The material feels solid and does a great job keeping dirt, dust, and water off the griddle. Definitely a must have if you want to keep your Blackstone clean and protected when not in use. Keeps the griddle protected and saves you from having to constantly clean it before use.

This is my second cover in about six years of Blackstone ownership. It is well made, fits precisely well and has a nice thickness to it. It seems to be the same quality as the earlier version so kudos to the Blackstone team for not cheapening it! The black hasn't faded at all and is still in great shape. Just don't let water sit in it over time.

Love this cover for my blackstone. I have had it for a couple of years now and it is still dark black and waterproof after a while of sitting out in the sun. This is easy to clean and fits perfectly. I see this lasting many more years.

I've had this cover for about three weeks now and it has gone through one rainstorm. Water beaded up on the cover and the griddle stayed nice and dry. Wonderful! Haven't encountered any serious wind yet to determine how storm-proof it may be. The fabric appears to be of good quality and certainly has decent weight. Stitching looks very good. I expect durability at this point, but we'll see. Just a couple of complaints. First, the fit is very close. There's not a lot of maneuvering room. You need to be dead square to get the cover on. Another 3/4" inch of ease would have made things a lot better. Neither the cover for my Weber grill nor my Brinkmann smoker are anywhere near this tight. I may pull the tool hanger pegs off one of the shelves; I don't need 10. Second, I wish the hold down straps were reversed. There are two straps that go from front to back under the belly of the griddle to make sure the cover stays on. The long ends are on the front and the stubs with the clips are on the back. That means you have to get behind the griddle to fasten the straps, or get down on your hands and knees which I'm not doing. Not convenient if you have limited clearance behind the cooker and have to pull the griddle out to cover it. My work-around it to put the cover on "backwards". Much easier for me, but the Blackstone name is now against the wall and the Blackstone people are losing all of their PR.

This is one cover I will not budge on. Replaced our first cover after 4 years with an exact fit cover. After one season we were back to the "blackstone cover" great quality and worth the extra few dollars!
