Easy to use and install. Really nice you can change the angle to whatever fits your plug-in needs, but taking 1 star due to the backplate being made of thinner plastic. Don't tighten this down too much or else you may Crack the backplate.

This is a perfectly useable 20A 120V replacement plug well suited to applications where having a right angle plug is advantageous. The ability to set the angle of the exiting wire relative to the plug can be helpful in some applications, particularly under a weatherproof in use cover. The plug comes in a sealed bag with printed instructions and a plastic protector over the plug prongs (picture). A physical inspection of the plug shows it complying with the 5-20P dimensions listed in the ANSI/NEMA WD 6-20-2016 standard. The plug is an acceptable value for the price and one of only a few on Amazon with 20A rating, right angle wiring, and adjustable angle. Background from a retired electrical engineer (me): A lot of folks don’t fully appreciate the difference between a NEMA 5-15 and 5-20 plug. The 5-20 is used when a circuit is protected and wired to support a 20A rating instead of the far more common 15A rating. Given that you should typically derate the 15A circuit to 12A for a continuous load there can be times a little more current is needed. This plug should be applied to 120V equipment that needs more than 12A when operating to avoid overheating the circuit breaker or building wiring. I have an amateur wood shop and wired it with 5-20 outlets for instances like running a 2HP motor on a shaper. The motor nameplate indicates it can require almost 14A at full load. If I use it on a 15A circuit I run the risk of tripping the breaker or having excessive voltage drop because the shop wiring is not up to the task. Using a 5-20 plug to power the shaper motor ensures I use an outlet rated for 20A and avoid problems. I have included a picture of a 6-20 plug with the same adjustable angle feature as this plug. It is behind a weatherproof in use cover to show how the angle setting can be helpful. The angle can be set on the plug to allow the wire to comfortably exit the cover without strain.

Looks like a good plug, but I didn't order the right one. That's on me. So, be sure to check all the specs, to be sure the plug fits your specific application correctly. Don't be ike me, and hurry through the fine print, and get the wrong thing. My application was for 220v (not the 125v that this plug is made for), so the terminals are reversed, compared to my old plug. I saw the right angle blade on the one side, and just assumed that I had the correct plug. Everything else was correct, just the wrong voltage. But, the 220v plug (that I needed) has the right side blade that is turned at a right angle, not the left side blade, as this plug has. This plug looks the part, and was super easy to install (especially when you are just replacing the plug on a power cord). It took me less than 10 minutes. The plug has a solid feel, and the terminals inside the plug held the wires of my power cord very securely. The ternials/blades feel strong and secure in the plastic housing. The price is right too, as when I discovered my error I had to go to the local hardware store to get the right plug, and paid approximately $5 more for the correct one (that's almost 2x the price of this plug). In summary: It's a nice looking plug; just be sure what you need, before you rush it and get the wrong part.

Nice to have the right angle plug for my purposes. It's a simple product and works as advertised.

Very small and difficult ult to have enough wire.to terminate and clamp onto the sheathing. Not recommended. Would not buy again. I recommend the Legrand plug which has way more space and is larger for a secure and reliable plug.

This plug is a nice replacement plug for a 20 Amp 120 Volt AC plug. I needed to replace the plug on my air compressor that was starting to fail due to fatigue from being plugged in all the time. The cord stuck out the plug and over the years, it started to break the insulation open from hanging down. A nice feature with this plug is you can rotate the head inside the housing to match up with the receptacle mounting to help relieve stress and strain on the cord. Plus it carries the ETV marking which is a recognized testing safety standards. The instruction sheet that comes with the plug recommends type SJT, which according to the electric code book is a thermoplastic type insulation and is somewhat thinner than some. My compressor has a type SJOW which also has an oil resistance rating and was a little tougher to install in the cord clamp. Plus, the screws in the cord clamp are a little weak and could have been a little sturdier. But, you should only have to screw them in once. Another note, the instruction sheet also lists #14 AWG - now without getting into the different types of wire - #14 is good for 15 Amps, being this plug is a 20 Amp plug - do not use 14 gauge wire in a 20 Amp circuit, #12 AWG is good for 20 Amps. That's why one of the prongs is rotated 90 degrees compared to a normal 15 amp 120V plug - its a 20 Amp 120 VAC plug. Overall, I am happy with the replacement plug, but due to the clamp screws it gets four stars from me.

This right-angle NEMA plug is excellent quality and feels very solid in the hand. Installation was quick and straightforward, and the internal layout is easy to wire correctly. Once assembled, it holds everything securely and the connection feels durable. The right-angle design is perfect for tight spaces and helps keep cords out of the way. Functionality is exactly what I needed, and for the price the value is great. A sturdy, reliable plug that should last a long time.
