Chef Select Canning Jar Wrench

It works exactly how you think it would. :) I bought it to open a jar that broke a different plastic jar opener of mine. That jar really abused this thing but the wrench held up great. Hinges were intact and the metal did not bend. On a separate note, I also used it to screw on and off a lens filter on a DSLR lens that became stuck after being dropped (sad story I know). This worked great on the stubborn/bent lens filter and I was able to get it off with this wrench when nothing else worked.

Very durable and grips well. It has already come in handy opening several different size jars and bottles. Because is it metal it does not flex so opening very large jars means that the handles are pretty far apart so you may not be able to grip both handles with one hand. For the large mayonnaise jar I had to sit and grip the jar between my knees so I could use both hands to hold onto the handles and turn the lid.
