They do smell at first but honestly all of these type products regardless of brand normally do. But it dissipates quickly after you air them out. They’re used outside so doesn’t bother me. Within a few minutes the smell had dissipated significantly. But they fit together well and are good quality. Cleaned up my camper cords so I won’t accidentally hit them with the trimmer. Will use some too for Christmas lights.

First off, the price is phenomenal for the build quality on these. Very durable, manageable size. I own a small sound company and will be using them to protect cables on stage. I would have rated these 5 stars, but... When these were delivered my son got them off the porch and brought them in the house before I got home. I walked in the door and the smell hit me like a ton of bricks. Unbelievably strong odor from the rubber or plastic these things were made of. I immediately put them in the garage. The smell left our house in a few days, but it has been 2 weeks in our garage and they still have a strong odor. To be fair it is less strong than it was initially. Just a word of warning to make sure folks know what to expect. Again, the quality is great and they will serve their purpose well, once I feel confident the odor won't make me pass out in the work van on the way to a gig.

I am using these on my driveway to protect the garden hose while watering certain spots via automatic timers. The pieces are well constructed and heavy. They have some strong smell at first due to the rubber material, but that quickly goes away. The flip cover allows quick installation/removal of the hose or cords after connecting them. I did not attach to the asphalt driveway as they are temporary for about 1 month while watering some new grass areas. Heavy duty, withstand driving the RV over them as well.

Five stars for almost everything about the product. The weight and built quality. The materials. The dimensions. All seem top notch. Exactly what I was looking for. But my god, the smell. When I opened my front door to bring in the package, I was confronted with the smell even in the open air. I made the mistake of carrying the box through my house to the garage.... because an hour later, I can still smell it in the house just from that brief pass. Then I made the biggest mistake of all: I opened the box. I pulled it out with my bare hands. I'm now three hand-scrubbings later, and I can't get the smell off my hands. I tried eating a sandwich, and that was a mistake as every bite brought my hands close to my nose again. This is horrible. So 0 stars due to smell. Tough to rate this accurately. I'm encouraged by some who say that the smell eventually goes away. But right now the thing is out on my back patio airing out. There is NO way that I'm putting it in my garage with new cars. Yes, I know that it sounds like I'm being overly dramatic here. But I'm dead serious. The smell is horrible. And in general, that means that the people who make these don't bother curing them all the way. That takes more expensive chemicals AND more time. I'd be happy to pay more to get this same thing without the smell.

I'm a part time stage hand and rigger for a production company and we use the high end versions of something like this. I also own a small rig of my own. I purchased these for my shows. For the money you can't beat them, they work great. One big downfall The cover doesn't stay open. It wants to flip shut on its own, as you can imagine, laying a hundred feet of cable into the tray when you have to lift each cover up is gonna kinda suck. Also the rod that runs through it as the hinge pin. Slides out by itself some times when you carry it straight up and down. Other than those minor problems they're great. I highly recommend them. BTW I kind of like the smell everyone's complaining about.

Unfortunately, although VEVOR is a favorite brand of ours, this product is disappointing. After being installed, in 1.5 years the color has faded and is now cracked. We reached out to Vevor but were unable to get help. Considering the product has been bolted down already there is no way to changed the cracked piece. This is a big expense to remove the product and install a new one. If you are looking for something to use longer than 1 year, do not buy this product. Disappointing, and not built to last. This is good quality product. The way it seems in picture, real product is the same. It was easy to take the products out of box and install them by connecting together and running my cords by putting them into the opened box like thing on top :) Now I am very satisfied for protecting my cord. Total length of 5 pieces is good as it covers a good portion on my 2-car wide driveway. Great work team.

Great quality, a little smelly, so I wouldn't use inside, but heavy duty and rugged. 3 isn't quite enough for a larger vehicle so I don't have them pushed together. But they have supported my larger bus, and dump trucks driving over them daily for 6+ months.

Haben die Kabelbrücke seit letztem Jahr im Herbst in unserer Einfahrt im Einsatz. Egal welches Wetter und welche Temperatur. Die Kabelbrücke bricht weder noch schmilzt sie. Hält locker die Überfahrt eines 1,6 Tonnen PKW's aus. Super Erfindung! :-)

El producto es efectivo y seguro. Cumple perfectamente su función. El único pero es que no he encontrado la posibilidad de comprar unidades sueltas. Pero el producto está muy bien.
