Impressive build quality, smooth head!
This has got to be the best tripod I have ever used! Understand though, I haven't used very many tripods in the past. I am familiar with the Amazon Basics "50-inch Lightweight tripod with bag" and the Amazon Basics "60-inch Lightweight tripod with bag" and both of these tripods are fine. The 50-inch ABT is a great little tripod for a stationary GoPro or similarly small camera/camcorder. The 60-inch ABT can easily handle a much larger camera/camcorder but the removable 1/4" threaded quick-release plate is about the same for both and is marginal at best and catastrophic at worst. The 66" DSLR Camera Tripod sold by JoyEveryDay has a quick plate the is sturdy, full metal, and locks into place with utter confidence. I have mounted my Nikon Coolpix P900, a 2 lbs super zoom, with confidence on this tripod at very precarious angles and not worried about it falling. The clamps for the leg extensions and tight but not overly so. One of the legs unscrews to become a mono-pod and is prefect for tight quarters, actions sports, or where a more lightweight stabilization is necessary. This tripod, where not as light as the Amazon Basic alternatives, is not heavy. It is easily carried for long distance and deployed easily. The head on this unit is FANTASTIC and is probably the most important feature this tripod comes with. The movement is smooth as butter and locks into place with a twist of the knob. The legs fold back on themselves to make this tripod super portable for its size and are capable of being released at multiple different angles allowing this tripod to go on uneven terrain where other tripods would suffer. I would greatly recommend this tripod to anyone getting into professional photography or cinema!

Excellent product for very reasonable price
This product is per the description. Good quality at very reasonable price. It is all in steel and the joints are solid, the system is stable, it is easily foldable. It works well with the canon EOS 100 that I have, even with the tele which is going to 300.Additionally and it is worth noting it, the service of this seller is amazing, very reactive. You can order separately and via email, the support for mobile phone, my wife wanted to do some videos. I have received it faster and for free faster than with seller from whom you pay the product nad the shipment. All in all, very happy and I have been looking a lot. Thanks for this great quality product

An Excellent Choice
Yes, as Enthusiasts, we know the “standard” that you really don’t want to match a $4,000 camera/lens combo with an inferior tripod and ball head. Better to get the upscale, $500+ carbon fiber name with a RRS ball head, etc. You’ll avoid shake and durability issues when trekking through the Rockies, Sahara desert, or your local park. I’m not convinced of that guideline, and this GWNNSH tripod is the proof.Firstly, the construction quality is very good. The tripod is advertised as holding up to 10 kgs (22 lbs) and to me that was a main factor, plus price, for my purchase. The unit weighed in at just about 3 lbs. complete, and folds down neatly into a compact carrying bag with a velvet ball head cover. Overall, in terms of value and performance, I’d rate this tripod an excellent choice. It does the job that tripods are meant to do, provide a sturdy platform upon which you can take some classic photos - without the hype and elitism that is so often common when reviewing equipment. My gear: Nikon D810 with mixed Nikon, Sigma, and Tamron lenses - in wide-angle, portrait, mid and super telephoto zooms.

Highly recommended!
I purchased the lower-priced aluminium model here from the seller JoyEverywhere, and asked about the noticeable noise when turning its ballhead after I received it. I don't know if it's a one-off product. The seller used expedited shipping and sent the carbon fiber model to me well ahead of my upcoming trip. (It appears JoyEverywhere and Gwnnsh are interchangeable.) Anyhow, the carbon fiber model is hefitier, but it's very well built. It really screams quality. The ball head is bigger than the one on the aluminium model and very smooth. This tripod could be converted to a monopod, and there are all kinds of controls/knobs that I could ever want. The feet are very well-built, too. Top to bottom, this is a professional piece of equipment that is ultra sturdy.I asked the seller to send me a return shipping label so I could ship the aluminium model back. He said no need. When was the last time you saw this quality of customer service? If you're buying a quality tripod, this carbon fiber model and seller deserve your serious consideration.

Seems well made.
This seems like a very well-made tripod. I am using a Nikon D 3300 DSLR w/80-200 lense (I'm NOT a professional photographer). Panning/aiming is smooth. The ball head is metal and smooth. The legs are sturdy. The only significant parts that are plastic are the clamps that lock the telescopic legs in place. The clamps do not seem skimpy or flimsy but only time will tell how they hold up. It seems a bit heavy but I don’t think it will bother me. I suppose if you’re packing into the tundra it may be an issue. It has one leg that comes off for use as a monopod- I have no use for a monopod so I won’t be doing that.Overall this seems like a very stable well made tripod. My only question- a nylon velcro “pocket” came with the tripod (see picture). It looks like it’s meant to attach to something but I have no clue what I would use it for.I WILL UPDATE AS TIME GOES BY.

Very nice tripod for the price, great value!
This tripod is awesome! Not a professional photographer by any means, but this tripod makes me feel one. Very easy to set up, versatile for all terrain and comes with a carrying bag. Legs are easily extendable and head mount is adjustable for all situation and shooting format. It is very sturdy and you can feel that in the weight also (no cheap plastic here). I used the tripod quite a few times now on trips to Grad Canyon, Monument Valley, night photography and city-scape, but it didn't disappoint. I highly recommend, good value for the money!
