I'v been using Formula 1 wax for my car and its done wonders and had therefore almost purchsed the formula1 leather cleaner and conditioner but I read reviews saying it left the leather oily and slippery. So I started doing some googling and came across Chemical guys on youtube. They were using their products on Land Rovers and Ferraris and the comments on youtube from other users assured the genuitiy of the product. So I ordered this leather cleaner and also a leather conditioner from Chemical guys as well. Its always recommended to also condition your leather after cleaning it to replenish your leather with all the necessary vitamins and oils and restore their original texture and feel. Coz leather is just like skin, and needs to be taken care of. I received the product well packaged and sealed. The same day I took the product to try it out. As you can see from the pics, the leather was soiled and dirty for use for almost 2 years since purchase. I'd only once used water to wipe away dirt and it had partially done the job. The chemical guys videos on youtube recommened trying it on a small area for checking colour fading. I sprayed it on a microfiber cloth and started rubbing gently initially. The dirt started coming off almost immediately and the difference could be visibly seen. And no colour fading. But I wanted it pretty clean and hence started rubbing a little vigorously(extreme rubbing could perhaps do harm to your leather). And lo and behold, the seats started appearing clean and rich and supple. The seats became cleaner than when I'd intitially received the car from showroom, since we got it without the plastic covers and many people had gone in and out of the car making the leather slightly dirty already. I've put up a pic of the middle row seats where ther is a clear demarcation line of clean and dirty seats. And it should be enough to show you the brilliance and magic of this product. The manufacturer claims colourless and odourless. It is definitely colourless but there is a slight almost negligible smell (nice fruity alcohol kinda) which is very hard to notice unless you start sniffing around. And its also ph neutral which is another boon. This surely has been the best investment for my car care products so far. Its more than worth every penny. Please go for it. I'd give it 10 out of 5 stars. Oh and not to forget, you've also got to buy the leather conditioner and do get it from Chemical Guys. You can't just clean your leather and not condition it. It'll leave your leather dry and make it hard and cracking. And lastly, the seats you see are of XUV500. I believe they are partly leather vinyl. Not sure but this product can be used for just about both.

The best I have used for my car. Better than the one BMW sells as accessory.

Works rather well, removes most long standing dust/mud stains, though depending on where the accumulated dirt is , may need some effort, such as glove fingers where the cleaning area is narrow. Can't say how it affects leather on long term use, the stuff foams up like soap so it does raise the question if it's just glorified soap water? Anyway, adviseable to follow on the cleaning with leather conditioner (if you're using for relatively supple leather like gloves, riding jackets as opposed to hardier treated leather like boots - though it might be good to condition those too).

This product has damaged my car black color leather steering. Not recommended.
