(Old Edition) Retailing Management

The book is like Philip Kotler's Marketing Management. Very thorough. I have started going through it and I am liking what I am reading.The 8th edition has information about Indian retail industry. That is good though the data is ten years old. A lot has happened in Indian retail in the last decade. Information about it will have to be separately accessed.The entire book is based on retail management decision process given on page 17 and the chapters are arranged accordingly. It makes for logical clarity.On the negative side, some exhibits are missing from Chapter 17. Also page- cutting of Preface is such that the last sentences are lost from at least 2 pages.On the whole, a very good book.
