My 7-year-old daughter was requesting another American Girl Wellie Wisher doll, but specifically wanted a doll with hair she could style. I was looking for a 14" doll that would be compatible with the Wellies and I'm so glad I found these new Glitter Girls. Battat really got the look and design right with their posable Glitter Girl collection. This doll is a Christmas present, so it hasn't been opened or played with yet. Her eyes are bright blue and the lashes are a nice touch. Her outfit seems well made with quality materials. One thing that surprised me was the darkness of her complexion. Her skin color is much darker in person than my daughters' Wellies and Disney princess dolls. Its even more noticable with the blonde hair, green eyed Glitter Girl I bought my 4-year-old. It looks like they have tans and reminds me of my Malibu Barbie from childhood. Its not a deal breaker for me since I'm mostly buying for the hair, but there is a clear difference between the Amazon photos and what I received. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and can't wait to hear what my daughters think. I really like the price compared to spending $60 on a Wellie Wisher, and will definitely be purchasing more Glitter Girls and accessories in the future.11/15/2020 UPDATE:My daughter LOVES this doll and plays with it daily.The Glitter Girl's hair is fun to style, and still in great shape after almost 2 years. With a wired doll brush and water spray we have NOT had a problem with hair coming out.The doll is easy to dress, which prevents damage to it's clothes and allows for more independent play. Some glitter has worn off of the shoes, but otherwise the outfit is still in good shape.The only thing missing is underwear. My daughter borrows the Wellie's underwear when dressing the doll in skirts and dresses. Underwear would be a nice addition or accessory pack in the future.Last Christmas we added the horses, stable and several outfits to our families GG collection. This year we will be getting 2 new dolls and some more outfits.I highly recommend Glitter Girls! Durable, easy to dress and reasonably priced for little kids (age 3 to 7). Fun, creative play for older girls who like to style hair, outfits and pose dolls (age 8+).

My daughter loves her glitter girls bluebell doll! I was cautiously optimistic because of the price, I thought “how could it be for $20?!” It exceeded my expectations! She is beautiful, her hair is so nice and my favorite thing about her is that she is so soft- even her limbs! We also have the competitors doll- she is 3x the price and she pales in comparison. Don’t hesitate!! This is the perfect doll for little hands!

I bought this doll for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas, and she loves her. I didn’t want to spend the money on an AG doll yet, but I wanted a similar type of doll. I don’t know how they compare, but this doll is beautiful and feels like a quality toy. Her body is hard plastic, but her arms and legs are a softer squishier plastic. She feels sturdy, and her clothes are well made. The outfit she came with is cute, with nice fabrics used. I haven’t noticed any snags, loose threads, or poor stitching. The shoes are not flimsy, and don’t shed glitter everywhere either. Her hair is gorgeous, and brushes out beautifully with a wire brush. I also purchased a set of clothes on Amazon for her as well. Not brand name, but designed to fit Wellie Wishers and other 14 inch dolls, and they do fit the Glitter Girls doll just fine. She’s a beautiful doll, and my daughter loves her. I’m really happy with my purchase.Tl;dr- great quality doll for the price. Outfit is well made too. I think it’s a great alternative to the more expensive dolls. She should fit in the AG Wellie Wishers clothes, or clothes made for that type of doll.

Bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it.

I bought these dolls (Bluebell and Marlén) for my then 3 and 4 year old daughters and they have been PERFECT. I cannot believe how beautifully their hair has held up over the last year and a half. While most of their Barbie’s end up with terrible matted hair, these dolls are able to have their hair brushed and stay the same untangled, silky hair that they have had from the beginning. The accessories are so cute and very affordable. The size of the doll is perfect for their age and they don’t have issues changing the clothes or shoes. I will recommend these dolls to anyone considering American Girl dolls as a very budget friendly and great quality alternative.

Was a Christmas gift for my 3 year old last Christmas, it hasn't broken or gotten ruined in anyway AND she hasn't lost one accessory. She loves her dolly, especially brushing her hair.
