Admittedly I was skeptical about this product even after reading many positive reviews so I delayed ordering. My sciatica pain was almost debilitating so I figured for $100 what did I have to lose? I had to do something. I tried the thing out as soon as it arrived and frankly I was quite amazed. I’m sorry I waited. The vibrating cycle is robust and very relaxing. The heat cycle is just right and very soothing. I don’t know how any one would say it is too hot unless they put the thing directly on bare skin, which I do not recommend for any heating pad. My Thermopore heating pad(which I love) gets way hotter than this. The third cycle is really the kicker. The internal inflatable function slowly inflates and flexes the lower spine. It inflates to a perfect balance between mildly uncomfortable to almost slightly painful and then deflates and repeats. The first time I used it I didn’t want to get off of it. In truth I experienced immediate relief. I have used it twice a day now for three days and my pain is virtually gone. I still have a bit of numbness that has shifted a bit from my lower back to my hip but at a very manageable level. I am 100% sold on this product and recommend for any one who was back pain. Time will tell how long it will hold up to daily use.

I received this and it didn’t have a cord, so no way to operate it. I sent it back and they sent a replacement and still no cord. I decided to keep it and purchase a cord because I wanted to see if it helped my back. My husband and I both used it and after only one time our backs felt tremendously better. So we decided to keep it. I used it again before I went to bed and it worked great. I will still continue using it to see if it’s worth it in the long run. 3 stars because there was no cord. Probably should be lower because you can’t use the product unless you have a cord. Very frustrating! And after you charge it, it will not run if you don’t keep it plugged in which is really crazy. I did read that on one of the reviews but thought that might be a fluke. Well, it’s not.

I just received this today and I had to try it out sitting in a straight back chair. The instructions were very simple as I read each step. I plugged it in and pushed the automatic button and as I was curious to see if it would automatically turn off as that detail wasn’t in the instructions. I was absolutely blown away as to the fact that it turns off in about 30 minutes. That was a huge concern for me. It’s everything that is mentioned on the website and more. I know this is my first time using it and honestly I felt like I was at a therapist office but without all the twists and turns. This is the PERFECT product for anyone that’s looking for relief with any back pains. I would recommend it a million times over.

If you have doubts about this device, please read this review. I'm about 80, with an arthritic back with bone spurs, aching lumbar, previous decompression surgery (14 years ago), dried up discs, pinched nerves and a numbness in one leg. I've tried lumbar steroid injections (L4-5) with few results in the past year. I received my SmoothSpine one month ago, just after I saw my extremely qualified back surgeon for the fourth time. He doesn't believe in surgery unless he can pinpoint an issue, and with bone spurs, they'll probably come back anyway. He said I could get on Cymbalta forever, maybe try steroids in a different way, or lastly, he could do surgery that would possibly help for awhile. Steroids, he said, have maybe a 30% chance of lasting a few months, and you don't want to do that forever, nor can you. I had already ordered the SmoothSpine, but, like you, figured it was some scam and wouldn't help, or be poorly made, etc., but the reviews were great, so I bought it. The day after my doctor's appointment, I laid it on the floor and tried it. It ran four cycles in under about 15 minutes. I got up and my back and leg pain was completely gone. I couldn't believe it. I almost came to tears when my wife asked me if it did any good. And I didn't want to jinx it! The thing simply works. I don't know how, but somehow it is able to lift and put my lumbar area in more of a natural setting so nerves aren't pinched. It may or not rejuvenate my discs, but the more I use it (twice a day, 15 minutes), the better my back feels. My back feels better than it has in at least 15 years. I truly have had no lumbar or constant leg pain since the first time I used it. Amazing. And I'm not even sure I need to use it twice a day, but it is so relaxing and positive I don't want to give it up. I'm still afraid I'm jinxing myself by writing this!
