This foldable TPE treadmill mat has been a practical addition to my home setup, and after using it under both a walking pad and a bench, it’s done exactly what I needed it to do. The 183 × 80 cm size gives plenty of coverage, and the 6 mm thickness has been enough to cushion impact and stop vibrations travelling through the floor. I’ve found the textured surface on both sides grips well, so the mat doesn’t slide around on laminate or carpet, and it lies flat once unrolled with no curling at the corners. The TPE material feels dense and durable, and it wipes clean easily after a session. I’ve mainly used it to protect flooring from the weight and movement of equipment, and it’s handled that reliably—no dents, no slipping, and noticeably less noise. It’s also light enough to move and fold away when I’m not using it, which makes it more convenient than heavier rubber mats. The only thing worth noting is that it’s still essentially a single‑layer foam mat, so while it’s sturdy, it won’t feel as heavy‑duty as commercial‑grade rubber. Overall, it’s been a dependable, easy‑to‑use floor protector that suits a home gym well.

This protective mat for my exercise equipment is fairly well made of the standard compressed foam but if one didn’t know different one would assume it was just a camping mat. I myself have used this under an exercise bike so that the adjustable feet do not leave an everlasting mark on my carpet and for that specific job this mat does well. At around 6 mm thick obviously there is some compression when the weight of an exercise bike plus the added weight of, cough, myself on top as well, but even after all this it still doesn’t compress the carpet underneath and the hideous circular feet marks have been banished forever. The fact that this is also wipe clean and doesn’t absorb any water or dirt etc is a bonus as more often than not I will spill part of my drink, or oil will drip from the pedals or wheel when maintaining the bike. Sometimes the bike needs to be put away and thus I shall roll the mat back up and into the original packaging quite easily with the diameter of the rolled up mat about 20 cm. At time of review this item is £29.99 and I think this is at the upper level of what I would be willing to pay for it, as I can’t imagine the cost of manufacture is very high and naturally with this type of TPE construction, eventually it will compress and have no effect of protection. But until that time it is doing its job well and I will continue to use it to protect the floor so for that use case I will recommend. Now I just need a new treadmill and we’ll be sorted!

The exercise equipment mat came rolled up and did not take long to flatten down. There doesn’t appear to be any curling up at the ends after laying the mat flat which is good however you will need to pop a couple of books or heavy objects on the mat to get it to go flat at first once it is unpacked.It is quite light in weight & has some give to it rather than being hard. The size is approximately 183cm L x 80cm W cm. The mat seems to be reasonable quality and can be used on hardwood, tile or carpet. I am going to be using it on carpet myself however it is good to know if I change my flooring at some point this mat would still be usable on other floor coverings. It is water repellent too, which is good as I have to oil my treadmill & occasionally work up a sweat! So this mat should protect the carpet from any oil stains, water spills and sweat too. The mat can been cleaned with a damp cloth or spray cleaner but it doesn’t specify which cleaner is suitable. Both sides of the mat have texture to stop the mat from sliding around. Its a good thickness at 0.6cm so helps reduce sound vibration from noisy machines like treadmills and exercise bikes. Overall a good size and quality and light in weight.

This Foldable Treadmill Mat is an ideal product to have under our excercise equipment in the attic. It is on laminate flooring so it offers a softer surface underfoot, providing a great area to walk on as I'm not worried about slipping. I actually have it under a weight bench and it makes working out much more pleasant. Unfortunately the cats seem to think it's there as an additional scratching surface, something they can get their little claws into (grrrrrrr) or it's their new/current favourite sleeping surface 🙄🙄🙄 The fact this can fold up makes it easier to manoeuvre about and if not in use it can be folded up and takes up little space. If you're looking for a good sized product for use under exercise equipment I would definitely recommend this product.

Excellent quality exercise mat that looks smart and feels robust and durable. I got this mat to protect my laminate flooring from treadmill use and it does a great job. The mat is a good thickness, and has a reliable non-slip texture - my treadmill is secure and my floor safe from damage. It's generously sized, the width is perfect for my machine, though admittedly it is a bit long for my space (my fault for not measuring!) so I roll it up at the back when I'm not using it. When unrolled, it lies flat, with no curling corners causing trip hazards. Sturdy and easy to clean, this mat is ideal for use with gym equipment - it also has a nice cushion to it so would double as a good yoga mat too.
