Worth the read
It's the first time when I read a light novel especially in the English, I've read it all the way through and enjoyed the experience, I've also seen the anime and I am curious to see where it's headed next, it is a bit different than the anime, but not too much.I've bought 2 more volumes, 2 and 3 and after a month of waiting my package from ARAMEX has been lost and my time has been wasted it seems, I am disappointed in that fashion so I advise you buy at least 2 or 3 volumes so you won't go through the same experience I did.

It’s a must read if you like the series
The anime adaptation did cut out a lot of important moments and elements that showed why cote has a really outstanding storytelling and character development , that’s why i recommend reading the light novels to know everything that you missed

This is not a Manga with pictures covering every page.
This is my first time reading a light novel, and although depressing that the book doesn't have pictures everywhere, the story and details given make up for it completely. I love the story and the art on the few pages with pictures and can't wait for the third book, as I have read the first and am halfway through the second book. I would definitely recommend, but don't let the mailman shove he book in the mailbox.

Great beginning.
As far as first volumes go, it's great. Nicely sets up the characters, the setting and the atmosphere that follows the series in the first year at least. A good volume in my opinion.

Good Read
After watching the anime, I thought giving the light novel a try was a good idea. Honestly it is way better as it allows a better understanding of the main character’s thoughts. Although the translations do come out slow, buying the official translation is way better than reading fan-translations as it uses better diction.

Great read better than the anime
If you liked the anime you will love reading this. This goes more in depth than the anime and has kept me interested the whole way through. Even though i know whats going to happen from vol 1-3 i am still going to read all of them because there's much more detail. Highly Recommend.
