Well made but…
I’ve had this chair at my beach house for the past few years. It’s made well although it’s our last choice and used for overflow only. This is because the seating position is too upright and not very comfortable if you are sitting for more than an hour. So if you are using it for only an hour or so then go for it. Otherwise go with something else.

Best 'big guy' chair I have owned
I'm not going to touch on every feature noted in the description...suffice to say I am a 'big guy' and have struggled with 3 issues regarding 'bag chairs': 1. sturdiness 2. ergonomics (specifically, how far do you sit back & can you get out of it easily) 3. seat width This is the best portable chair I have ever sat in for those 3 issues. The chair is rated @ 500 lbs and I believe that number. The back of the chair isn't angled too far back (which I know is relative and a matter of preference), I like the higher back more upright stance of the chair, but there's enough angle to satisfy someone who wants a bit of "lean".Its not perfect, the arms can use some more padding...and when folded, it is larger and heavier than your average bag chair. And yes..there is the cost.Back to the plus side ...the seat height at the front is 18", which for me means I can get out easily with those solid arm rests Now... for my favorite features: seat width. You notice how when bag chair sellers list width, it sounds great, but then you realize the usable space between the armrest bars that go through the seat squeeze your legs? I've had chairs that listed a 25" seat width, but with usable space between the bars @ less than 17". You don't have to worry about that here. Its a little tough to visualize but the 'armrest to seat' bars are spaced wider out and assisted by two bars that run in the black fabric section of the seat seat parallel to your thighs. I would list the usable seat space at a width of at least 21" ...my legs were not squeezed. Available seat depth is a little tougher to pin down, as it depends how far back you sit..but its no less than 18".In summation, if you fit into clothes @ 'oldnavy', this chair may be overkill for you...and I can't speak to long term durability as of yet. But, while not perfect, if you have concerns over sturdiness and size, this would be a great bag chair for you.

It’s so good my husband had me buy a second one.
I bought one as a risky surprise for my husband and now he tells everyone that sees it that it’s one of the best gifts I’ve ever given him.My hubby is almost 7 feet tall & he’s pretty stout so he’s always had issues with “lawn & patio” type chairs not being able to support him or be comfortable. In fact, unless there’s just not another option and only if he didn’t feel well and just had to sit down, he would never even consider sitting in one for fear it wouldn’t support him or even be big enough to fit him. So, when I saw this chair, I decided to get one and see if he would even try it. The best I really hoped for was that we’d have it to take with us to certain places.Well...not only does it easily support him, he says it’s incredibly comfy and he’s able to relax now knowing their’s no risk of embarrassment from chair failure or inadequate size. But, I really knew I’d done well when he asked me to get another one so now we have one for home and another we take with us whenever we go to an outdoor function. My husband’s smile when he tried this chair was worth every penny and a whole lot more!!

So good I bought another
This is the first review I have written in several years because I wanted to say if you are on the fence, get it.-- the chair is so good, comfy, and sturdy that I bought another one a month later

It works great for me.
This is a great camp chair for the larger person. I couldn't use standard camp chairs due to my size, so I opted out of going to family outdoor events. Now I can join in knowing I have a strong and study chair that I can carry and seats me comfortably. I've even used it temporarily as a desk chair while my job was in limbo between at home or at the office. It's not great for 8 hour days, not meant to be. But I will say it's holding up remarkably well with repeated use-no signs of wear at all. I like that it has a cup holder and an attachable bag. It even has a zippered pouch at the top of the back of the chair. It folds easily and I'm looking at getting another down the road for my big/tall son.

Gigantic chair!
I wasn't really sure about the size of this chair before it arrived, even after looking at pictures and the dimensions, so I was genuinely shocked at the size of the box that arrived - it's nearly 4 feet tall! The chair itself is massive - 42 inches tall by 30 inches wide. Shaq would be comfortable in this chair. It is incredibly solidly built - it didn't budge when I sat in it like most other folding camp chairs, but the size and weight of the chair also means it's not all that portable - you're not carrying this over your shoulder for long, but for a backyard, deck or campground, it's a good choice, especially if you feel like you're going to collapse those flimsy plastic chairs and cheap folding camp chairs before you even get all your weight into them.

Love this chair
Love this chair. It is every bit as sturdy as you would expect. I'm not a huge guy but I've always been weary of the regular camp chairs so I took a shot at the heavy duty one this time. It is easy to set up and take down. There is an awesome cup holder on one side and space for you to clip on a cooler bag of sorts on the other side. It is larger than other camp chairs so it takes up more space than you might be used to (both when storing it and when it is opened and you're sitting in it). That is not such a big deal but something to note. The color scheme is pleasant, not that I care so much about matching things but it isn't some typical weird blue or green color. The feet are a little larger than normal and rotate a little (hard to describe) so you end up with better stability on uneven ground. Mostly they act so that you don't end up digging into the ground. So far it is very comfortable to sit in and is a good height and all that. Will update if anything changes but very pleased with this. It's the most expensive camp chair I've ever purchased but it is seemingly worth it.

Thick booty
The chair feels very sturdy but the arms are a bit low and they dig into my hips a bit. And the height of the chair is pretty tall. I am 5'5" and have to almost hop up. If your short and thick it may not be the one for you. But if your concern is it being sturdy I think you will be happy!

value for money
I've never had a folding or camp chair. Took a long while to decide on this one on Amazon. It's very well made, lightweight, came in a zippered cover, and is surprisingly comfortable for my short frame and sore hip. I'll buy this again1
