i have walked 700 kms now using these socks while carrying a 15-20 kg alice pack and have been very surprised with the fit and comfort of the darn tough socks. the terrain included grass, sand, very rocky ground and steep incline/declines. i did take a number of other types and brands of socks with me initially but every time the darn tough socks dried out after rinsing them i would put them back on. now i do not bother taking any other brand of socks. these darn tough socks are just that.

They are soft and comfy, keep your feet warm and dry, yet not too hot in warm weather. Well recommended
