An excellent garden light for the money
Arrived promptly, well packed, and from Germany. Assembly is easy as the main lantern comes complete and glazed. The base, two pole sections, and top simply screw together. The thread is fine, so be careful not to cross thread as it is easily damaged. If you do damage it, then I would guess it would not be easy to rectify. Take your time however,and ensure that you aren't forcing anything, and a really strong join will result without difficulty.This item does need to be wired in a permanent location - it is not a plug in and go fitting that you can stick in the corner of your lounge! If you don't know how to wire it safely (and it's metal, so safety is essential) then find someone who does.Total time of assembly and installation, to an existing power supply, less than 25 minutes. Looks good and really good value at the price.

Stylish garden post light
I am very pleased with this garden post light, now that it is installed it looks superb. Unlike many post lights which are made from composite resin materials, this is made from from aluminium castings and is robust and well machined, so should last many years. Installation is a bit of a handful if you are attempting this by yourself, in final assembly the unit is quite bulky, so I would advise assistance. However the results are worth the effort. As stated in one of the previous reviews, the packaging was not of the best. Fortunately nothing was broken but the supplier needs to pay some attention to this.

Worth paying a little more for a quality product.
The light looks superb in my garden, a little tedious to assemble but well worth it. Great value for the money.The only negative is the packaging as the lamppost arrived damaged, but was replaced within 24 hours thanks to Amazon 😄😃

Poor quality control
Looks ok when complete but I found that there were several issues with things not lining up and there is no written instructions just photos of a very poor quality

Elegant and excellent
This really looks elegant and makes the front of my house look really posh - I had it installed because of my age, but it didn't take long so it must be easy. It gives a really good light too.

Utter rubbish!
Absolute rubbish. It is not easy to install, you need to wire it up to further length of mains lead. No plug. Poor quality screw thread. The glass had jagged edges which I cut myself on as it came out of the box. The instructions are unclear and useless and trying to fit the glass is ludicrously fiddly. Sent it back. Waste of money!!!!!
