AmLactin Ultra Smoothing

I love this & have been using it for over 10 yrs. It's great for very dry skin. It is very rich so I don't need much for each application & it makes my skin feel very smooth. I usually use it at night on my hands, since I wash them so often throughout the day. I have used it on other areas, but it gets expensive if I use it as a whole body lotion. It does last quite awhile. I've used other forms of Amlactin that don't smell too good, but as concentrated as this is, it doesn't have a strong odor. I'm very happy with the quality & results.

I battle eczema on my palms and feet, and use a high level cortisone topical from my dermatologist, and alone that was not enough. Amlactin 15% used daily (especially following hand washing) has been so effective. I use the cortisone cream much less frequently, and when I do, it penetrates better because there is no build up of dried, flaky skin. Yes, this has a slight odor on application (not bad in my opinion) but it dissipates quickly; not sticky when applied sparingly. The key is to use Amlactin products routinely; if you are sensitive, try the lower percentage products first, and move to the 15% products later. Great products that are effective, accessible and affordable.

I had bumps on the back of my arms. I tried so many expensive products. This lotion is the only thing that worked! It takes about 1-2 weeks to fully clear everything but if you use it every day I promise it works. My skin has never been this soft! It also works wonders on cracked or dry heels.. my feet are so soft now!

Does a great job but Amlactin products always smell like wet socks. I'll keep using this hand cream though.

I cannot believe how good this works!!! Nothing ever works on my dry skin. This is thick so I mix it with some other moisturizer so it spreads easier. My skin stays soft the entire day!! No more flakey legs! I am so impressed.

This immediately smooths feet, rough heels, foot & ankle areas. I use at bedtime and on my hands every night. Follow directions & avoid getting in your eyes. Any red, bumpy, dry flaky skin areas, it helps heal those quickly. I highly recommend

I was hopeful about this lotion but I honestly can’t get past the scent which smells like medicated molasses or something similar. It is very thick so it’s best to use while skin is still damp but even used on dry skin it’s not greasy which is a plus. I’m not sure if I’ll keep using but if scent is not a big concern for you I think it’s a good lotion.

The only reason I bought this product is because I stumbled upon a thread from an esthetician about controlling the smell of your armpits. I learned that the cause of the smelly armpits is the bacteria in sweat and I know you’re probably wondering what does this have to do with this product... lactic acid has antibacterial properties and is very gentle on the skin + using this every day can actually help with dark armpits. I am blessed to not have dark armpits however I was not blessed to have horrific onion/Doritos smelling sweat. The day this product arrived, I was quickly getting ready for an errand and I’m not gonna lie, my armpits smelled horrific even though I took a shower last night. I was hauling a** to go run my errands so on a whim… What I did was I got a cotton pad, squeezed out a pea size amount, rubbed it on my smelly armpit and let it dry... What happened next was completely unexpected once I let it dry and I sniffed my armpit there was absolutely no smell. For a quick second I thought I had COVID-19 cause I thought I lost my sense of smell but no that wasn’t the case I smelled my coffee after just to make sure. However I had no time to see how this would last during the day so I dabbed some on my other arm pit let it dry put deodorant on top of it and went about my day. By the end of the day I smelled like nothing with just a tinge of my usual deodorant smell and it was awesome. This product isn’t really intended or marketed as an anti-perspirant (it is NOT gonna stop making you sweat) but the lactic acid in this product is gentle enough to use on your under arm area once a day or twice however my recommendation is to start three times a week and then regularly use it . I am so serious when I say this is the holy Grail of under arm care because using this in the morning before applying my deodorant has changed my life this is my holy grail.

This is misleading / fraudulent to me. The website says pack of six, why did I get one only??? Please I think it's better to update the website so you don't keep disappointing people expectations.

Works phenomenally. I wasn't able to "cure" my KP, but it does make my skin really smooth after just one application. The only thing is that it's really thick, so you use a lot. The smell is.. not great but it's not vomit-inducing, either, and you can't smell it after maybe 10 minutes (I recruited an independent third-party nose to confirm).

My daughter had a patch of allergy bumps on her leg and it helped soften and smoothen the patch
