Are the ingredients from china? are the onions grown in china?! "sourced in usa" could be very misleading! where are the onions grown? country?!

I bought a mccormick onion powder and it smelled funky with green specs on it inside. is this normal? when i tried to return, they said i can't.

They are dried and flaky. Longer shelf life that way. They rehydrate up well and add flavor to soups and sauces when I use them. Fresh is best, but these are a very viable substitute. Great backup for recipes when I to buy an onion, of don’t want to chop an onion down that fine. For mixing with beef for hamburger patties, I go to this, first, because I don’t want to hand-chop a fresh onion down this fine.
