I'm an amateur woodworker, and I use handheld CNC machine called Shaper Origin. Being a handheld CNC, I need to push and pull the router manually. This Spektra bit when compare with other less expensive bit, can cut through wood with much less resistance. I also noticed that the tool life is MUCH MUCH MUCH longer for Spektra. I literally went through a box of 10 less expensive bits (about 5-10hr of cutting time each), but my Specktra is showing no signs of quitting at all. Great quality CNC bit

The media could not be loaded. Used on my CNC... wow what a difference this bit makes I can increase my speed and I still get a better cut... quality bit

I have been using an Amana Tool - 46476 which is half the price of the Amana 46476-K SC Spektra Extreme. The cut quality wasn't enough for what I needed. So I figured the extra coating/extra cost would do the trick. I don't see any improvement. The coating might make the cut quality last longer but, for the price, I wouldn't buy it again.

Perfect for hdpe. (See photo) This bit cuts smoothly and the chips are tiny allowing for easy suction with no clogging. Amana is definitely my go to for bits.

I have had very good success with Amana tools and this one is no different.
