I have the Brita Xl jug and usually a six pack of these will last me around 8-12 months (based on 8 weeks per cartridge per person). You get six in the packet all individually wrapped.I did not notice at first there was an extra item in the box. The cartridges are designed for two different Brita jugs. if you try to fit them to the XL, the flow of water is virtually non existant withtout the adapter. They represent good value for money and the water quality seems okay. Enough for my kettle and tea or coffee.Installation of the adapter is easy, you take the small blue flow regulator and simply pop it into the flow slot under the water filter. If you try to use the cartridges in the XL without the filter, they will not work properly.Pros: Six cartridges can last between six months to year, dependant on average use, adapter included.Cons: None really.

Well Made, Good price and works well

These do the job, take the bad taste out of the water, the water does take its time to filter though, but they are a lot cheaper in price.

Doesn't work with mt Brita Jug

First time ordering them, and used first one. Can't tell difference from originals, actually water tastes better comparing with them especially on the first rounds of filtering. The price is a bargain also. Will buy them again when will need new.

I've been using this water filter for over a year now and I couldn't be more pleased. So much so I have just placed my 3rd order! Still on it filters fast and helps the taste of the water and reduces the hardness. Was value for my money I must confess and the flow was faster. Will come back to notify if it lasted .

I bought these because they were cheaper and they were an alternative to Brita, that weren’t available at that point. We live in a really hard water area in Hertfordshire. They simply do not last a month before our kettle starts getting clogged with scale again. Have had to go back to Brita
