Hearing Aid Battery Tester (Generic Packaging)

Finding a hearing aid battery tester is difficult at best. Walk into your local suppliers of batteries and testers and they are clueless as to the difference between a "battery tester" and one specifically designed for testing hearing aid batteries. They are not the same. Regular battery testers do not work for hearing aid batteries.This tester is speific for hearing aid batteries and works every time. It is easy and reliable. Unfortunately, it seems to be available only online, regardless of source, including large store chains.It is small, unobstrusive, inexpensive and has a compartment for carrying extra batteries. We purchased two, one to travel and one to stay home.

Small keychain device that really works. I must have collected a dozen used batteries , some slightly, some completely. Don't know where they come from but those of you that wear hearing aids know what I'm talking about. This tester is cheap, simple to use and it works well. At least on my #13 batteries. It also has room to stow a pair in it's built in holder. Don't wait until your out & about to hear that low battery chirp in your hearing aid. Know before you start your day that you got plenty of juice. If you wear hearing aids you need this!

I got a bad batch of hearing aid batteries recently & there is nothing more frustrating than putting in a fresh battery & your hearing aid being dead. The place I bought the BOX of batteries from said unless I could prove the batteries were bad, then they would not refund my money. I bought this cheap tester & sure enough - many were dead. Turns out the glue on the strip keeping the batteries in a "dormant" state was not keeping the air from interacting with the zinc. This tester works great & saved me a ton of $$! Helps me know if I need to take some spares with me or not - I know I should always keep some with me, but sometimes you don't.

A least one of the cards of batteries that came with my hearing aids was either defective or much older than the date stamped on them, so I wasted a lot of time taking the aids back to the store because they failed almost immediately after changing batteries. I ordered this tester, and now I can check all new batteries as well as used ones. If I have a complaint, it's that the indication is just a series of bars versus a percentage or a meter. The hearing aids indicate that the battery is discharged at about the time the tester indicates about the middle of it's scale, but now that I have a baseline the device is indispensible.

It may work but all I got was the tester . . . no box and no instructions and I don't see a way to load a small battery to check it. I can't even rate it if I can't get it to work.

The first few batteries I tested didn't give any result, but after about 2 minutes of trying suddenly the device started working (i was testing all new batteries). It give you a simple reading on battery life. I bought this for my grandmother who tends to get rid of her hearing aid batteries before they need to be disposed of. this helps her take into perspective how long her batteries should be lasting. I feel for what it does it might not be worth the money, but she really likes it. So I guess I shouldn't complain. It comes with simple instructions and a very straightforward guide that shows you (according to the power reading you get on the device when testing batteries) when your batteries don't have enough power left in them to be effective. I don't really think most people would needs this, but there are those that might benefit from having the ability to test if you've used batteries or not.

This tester works well and super easy to use. Place the negative side of the battery down on the tester to get a battery reading.

They are easy too loose so I am glad they have replacements.They work well with the small batteries for hearing aids & It definitely saves us time throughout the day.
