Perfect for model horses!
I have used magic sculpt for years on my custom model horses. In the attached photos, the horse’s entire neck, head, mane and tail were sculpted with magic sculpt! It is so convenient to use, is water based for easy cleanup and dries within hours. I like to use rubbing alcohol to smooth my sculpt work because it gives a much smoother texture, but water works great as well! After drying, the material can be sanded to a porcelain-like finish. Apply a bit of gesso and you’re ready to paint it! Will always be a repeat buyer!!

Magic Sculpt is Amazing!
So I was excited to try the stuff and forgot to take a few before pictures - See Pictures - (I'm not an artist/sculptor) The Owl belonged to my friend and in bad shape when I finally took ownership... :) I repaired and painted him... but as you can see from the back - pieces started to crack off... no idea what Material he is but it had mold/algae in between the pieces that started cracking and falling off... etc... He also had a hole that I patched... and I willl keep adding to rebuild the back wings of him.... The next statue had a broken hand and missing ponytail - I forgot to take a before picture of the hand... but you have beofre and after pictures at my attempt to add the broken ponytail... lol I don't know the durability of course..... but so far... I'm loving how easy it is to mix and mold!! Still a learning experience - so hopefully it lasts a long time - as the statues will be primed, painted and sealed and go back outside to face the 4 seasons! They're not perfect - I'm not a professional - but they came out good for me... I love my garden statues and try to fix them best as I can to keep enjoying them... :)

Great clay but a tad too sticky
This material is a little bit too sticky to start with but if you just get the basic shape and let it sit for 2-4 hours, you can add more and more details as time goes on. I usually am still adding details until its completely dry. Besides that taking up more time than it should, this is a really nice clay to work with. I'm making a BJD (ball-jointed doll) and the dried pieces have a really soft, nice feeling to them. It's also extremely strong. You can sand the pieces, cut them, even accidentally drop them and depending on what kind of piece you have, it shouldn't break. Extremely durable. It's not too heavy, yet not too light. Also, once you're working with it for a little while, it helps a LOT to wash your hands every now and then. It helps get the stickiness off your hands and lets you work with it easier. Adding water to your sculpt can also help to smooth out edges and form things better.

Really nice sculpting clay
I use this clay for sculpting miniatures and I love it. You can mix as much as you need, and it has a really long working time unlike other two part sculpting epoxies. I'd say an hour working time at least, but I usually let things sit overnight to let it fully set. I use olive oil on my tools instead of water for smoothing, and can get a really smooth surface with this clay.

Multiple applications and super flexible
I bought this set of epoxy clay for modeling and polymer sculpture work that I do in my spare time. It was easy to mix, although while mixing it sticks to everything as the chemical reaction begins. Definitely should use in a ventilated space, because this stuff stinks. Smooths with water easily if you need to refine shapes. Stays workable for about an hour before it gets to the point that it's too difficult to shape without ruining what you're making. After curing for 24 hours, it's very light weight and solid. Sands pretty well, but wear a mask while sanding because the dust will wreck your nose and lungs. Used for filling gaps on a model I was working on, used on another sculpture for adding support and structure, and used the left over clay to remake a handle for a custom tool I use for very fine details with an ergonomically shaped handle.
