This is not what you want.
I purchased this for my new ford transit, its a 13 passenger one ton van. We have adopted 6 children and planning a vacation. The idea being they could listen to their movies with the infer red head phones I purchased separately 6 pairs. The monitor is suppose to have the ability to send Infer red A and B head phones also can pick up I F A and B. After trying admiralty to get this function to work I have come to the conclusion that this function is not installed to monitor. There is virtually no instructions and the so called installation kit is a small flat piece of metal attached to the monitor this is completely inadequate for the size and weight of monitor also the rigidity of hing. I was able to place a more substantial piece of steel above headliner to affix this thing to. The only sound I have is the Monitors very low sounding speakers that are drowned out by any noise the FM transmitter to car stereo works with a great deal of static, on any channel. I was Hoping to have a nice thing for the kids instead I got this poorly made no instruction, inoperable Infer red Static sounding monitor. so after spending the money for this monitor and purchase of headphones plus materials to install and hours of aggravation to be let with something that does not come close to what it is suppose to be, I am going to remove it and will be left with damage to my vehicle insult to injury. I wish I could have left a positive review but that's impossible considering all the above.

Works well, could be a little better.
Installed this in our 2019 Toyota Sequoia and wasn't too difficult. Hardest part was trying to get the screws lined up with the metal bracket when screwing to the roof. Attached the bracket by cutting back the headliner and mounting to the roof supports with some self tapping screws. Currently feeding video to the screen via composite out on from a Pioneer headunit w/ videos on a flash drive, makes it easier to control the screen with young children. Only downside is can't use carplay will videos are playing. Audio also plays through car spears whether feeding the screen from the headunit or audio out from the screen to the headunit on aux mode. Also the device have 2x HDMI ports, one is hidden inside on the control and it does work BUT to get to it you have to switch to HDMI then go into settings, scroll over to source, and select HDMI 2. Odd that HDMI 2 doesn't show up in the regular source list. Kind of a pain but nice its there. Also dome light works correctly, comes on when the doors are opened / closed, and can manually be turned on or off with the button on the screen. Viewing angles are pretty bad but fine for the passengers sitting to left or right of the screen. Software itself is pretty buggy but I don't plan on changing the input very often. Overall I am pretty happy with this screen and my kids love it for longer car rides. Hopefully it lasts the test of time.

Good quality image and wallet friendly
Quite frankly, it has a very good image resolution and the price is a wallet friendly.I have to video sources, a roku device on the HDMI and a dvd player with the RCA cables. Both work really good. I checked the reviews and most of them are complains against the sound. I mean, true it doesn't have a 2.1 sorround sound, but it is decent enough. I installed on my expedition and everyone in the three seat rows can hear it perfectly. Now regarding the installation, honestly it is not a 10 min process and without experience I would say it could take you around 1hr (my case). It is not easy, especially working alone, trying to screw the screen to the bracket you need to be a good contortionist or have good flexibility to work on a reduced space. But once installed and when you see it working, your pride will rise to the roof, trust me.

Look good but might be defective
updating Review to 5 stars 10/5 We drove around for about 1.5 hours over the weekend and no issues with the monitor or Firestick. Happy with this and so are my kids! I bought PVC board which I had never thought about using until I read someone used it for their install with this monitor.1/8" 12"x12". I also bought some longer screws from HomeDepot since the screws that hold the monitor to mounting bracket are short.Looks nice, not as bulky as the DVD I had previously. Only problem is that my firestick keeps resetting so I'm unsure if it the stick or the usb outlet losing power that's causing that issue. Will swap out Firesticks during my troubleshooting. Will also update. Pointless to have this screen if it's going to keep causing my streaming device to reset. There is also a screen glitch. My kids will get annoyed.
