Here's another overlooked movie masterpiece. Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini. This is one of those slyly metafictional stories using a gun as kind of an objective correlative or a McGuffin--. "The Mexican" actually refers to this gun, which represents a powerful object at the center of a group of vastly divergent tales explaining or not its provenance. We're in Mexico. stuck until things work out. Everyone's kind of on the lam in one way or another.In one of the best scenes, Julia Roberts catches gangster James Gandolfini giving a cute guy the eye. "James, you had a moment there." Priceless.

Never A Dull Moment
Terrific flick with a great script, solid acting, and much more. The cast is awesome and they pull every effort as needed to make this film such a success. Brad Pitt shines!

Comedy of errors!
Fast-paced black comedy keeps you wondering if Brad Pitt will ever do things right, or if Julia Roberts really loves him. Every time I watch this movie (and I could enjoy watching it daily), I notice new details. I am so happy to see it finally in the Blu ray format!

Der Film ist unterhaltsam, kurzweilig und lustig. Die Hauptdarsteller zeigen hier, dass ihr Star-Image berechtigt ist. Sie spielen beide (und zusammen) großartig. Gute Unterhaltung ;)

I only saw this film recently on DVD, and was that enamoured with it, I immediately purchased the Blu Ray. The film is quite frankly, hugely underrated in my eyes, great performances all round and a unique storyline really make it stand out, and I don't understand why it isn't more highly thought of. Now to the disc itself. Whilst there is a reasonable improvement in detail, there is quite a lot of grain which wasn't apparent on the DVD. The DTS soundtrack appears to be the same one that was in my Region 1 DVD. Is it worth the upgrade? If you're a fan of the film, I'd say yes, just don't expect perfection. This is definitely a film that could do with a remaster.

Un bel film ironico divertente con 2 grandissimi attori un giovane brad pittore e una sempre giovane e bellissima julia roberts....da guardare in compagnia di amici per 4 sane risate.

Una película súper recomendada y que hoy en día es un difícil de conseguir. Me alegro de haberla encontrado por aquí porque es una gran película.
