Hookah Bowl Set - Silicone Phunnel Hookah Bowl with Inside Glass + Charcoal Holder

I saw that this product had mixed reviews but I decided to try it out if only for the hope of having a solid heat management system with a handle on both parts. Adding a handle to the bottom section was an ingenious fix for the issue of having to handle the hot base to change the shisha or dump ashes.I ordered one several months ago. The heat management system fit perfectly in the bowl. The glass inside cracked after a while but was still solid. The black of the heat management system eventually disappeared. But it still worked well and gave good clouds.The glass finally broke and I like it so much that I ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, the bowl in the replacement is way larger than the heat management system, so it just falls in it all lopsided and there would be no seal over the shisha. The heat management system is the same size as the old one. I'm not sure if the issue is that they have different sized bowls or what.Now I'm torn....do I try to reorder and hope I get a good one, or just call it quits and try a different brand?

I'm not sure if this particular product was actually designed by a hookah user or if any user testing was done. Bottom line is that it's weak on heat transfer. Please do not buy.1. The handle gets in the way and doesn't lay flat on the rim of the silicone. Therefore, this leave an air gap and doesn't allow heat transfer to the bowl2. The biggest issue is the the base is not perforated like the traditional foil and and toothpick indentation. There is only slits on the outside rim that once again does not allow for proper heat transfer3. The coal holder itself can only hold 2 standard coals laying flat and one has to be stood on it's side. Once again, this affects heat transfer4. The bowl itself is fine with the glass, however, I can't really comment on it because I couldn't use this product.My goto is BudPro Hookah Silicone Phunnel Bowl. The design WORKS! You can put 3 pieces of charcoal in and it's perforated to allow for strong heat transfer and LARGE clouds. Buy that instead

The biggest problem I have with the shape of these bowls is that they hold a lot of tobacco. While they heat up nicely and the heat management device seems to distribute the heat for an even horizontal burn, I can never get my shisha to roast at the bottom of the bowl regardless of how closed/open the lid is. By the second set of coconut coals, even when using the lid, the smoke dies down well before a complete burn. I digress.With this particular purchase, the glass part of the bowl seemed cheaper than the other brads I've had. Within a week the bowl had numerous internal cracks. I suspect with further cooling/washing for a repack, it would have shattered in my hands. I really just needed the metal lid and plastic base so I swapped out their glass bowl with my old one of the same shape.In terms of value, if the glass is going to break and you don't have a backup, it not worth it. If it would have lasted, the rest is great.

It does well but I find it doesn't transmit heat quite as well as a kaloud lotus but it is a lot cheaper and worthwhile if you're just starting out.

Great product for a fraction of a cost unlike the brand name that does the same thing, the quality of the silicone bowl is amazing and very high quality just like the glass bowl, the cloud is great as well and work like it should an amazing deal for the price definitely recommended it if you are a regular hookah smoker and want to get the most out of your smoke session, I've used it a few times so far and by far it has doubled my smoking session using the same amount of shisha.

This is a knock off of the Kaloud Lotus and Kaloud Samsaris Vitria bowl.the bowl I like.. the HMD not so much.. coals black out too quickly as the bumps insides do not raise the coals high enough to let air flow under after any coal ash comes off.my bowl has melted a bit near the edge after i placed the coals on the foil

While I appreciate the value of the item and the innovative features of the metal top with the secondary handle for the base of the coal holder, it does not fit with the provided funnel bowl. The silicon and glass bowl is slightly too wide for the top. With the bottom piece's handle this causes the top part to be angled and not properly seated on the bowl detracting from the whole function of such a setup. I was curious and decided to test if the actual kloud lotus top would fit or if this top part would fit the kloud bottom... guess what, this top fits the kloud bottom perfectly and this bottom is too large for the kloud top.Takeaway: At least my set will never see the funnel bowl used, only the top coal holder on another properly fitted bowl.
