25 Traditional Beer Mats From the Pubs of Britain, Series 2

Bought three different series of these coasters. The designs were what I was hoping for, but they are about 1/2 the thickness of the beer coasters we get at our local bars. Here in Florida, condensation on glass containers is a big issue, and these coasters/mats are just too thin - the condensation soaks through before you can finish your beverage, so wood surfaces are not protected. I have to use two, which is kind of silly. Perhaps they use coasters this thin in Britain, where the beverages are not served ice cold, but they are a no-go state-side. Guess I'll go back to bringing coasters home from the bar.
