Guide is reasonable quality and easy to use, the file is very good and deals with chain steel easily. Bear in mind that all of these guides do get worn down from use, that's just the nature of the beast-they have to deal with the aforementioned files.

I think it was a lot of money for what it was ,I decided to keep it i think it will do what it said it would but £3 would have been enough money for it .

Good product, but requires some practice with the file to sharpen the chain teeth properly. Otherwise this product is good value and will help keep your chain sharp.

Material could be harder but it does the job

it dident fit my chain,might have been my fault in not checking properly.also it took the best part of a month to arive

The depth gauge, also called a raker, tends to get higher than the cutting blade after repeated sharpening of the chain. This leads to increased friction on the cutter head, plus lack of ability to 'eat' into the wood. It is essential to have a tool that tells you to file down the depth gauge. The gauge and file are quick and easy to use. Guard it well, it is easily used by others and many times gets 'lost' to neighbours.
