Very nice clock, takes a little patience but after a week of getting the leveling just right and the pendulum tunes properly, it now keeps pretty accurate time. It may be about 1 minute a day off which for these clocks is really good. Classic all wood style, no wood-look plastic, very detailed. Just make sure you have a nice high place to put it because the 8 day chains are LONG. I’d say at least 8’ off the floor is where this needs to be mounted, of course you could shorten the chains and have to reset your weights more often. Being able to turn off the cukoo is nice too because this thing gets loud at night and a bit annoying when you’re watching tv. We love this clock, it was worth every penny.

Great gift for my Dad. He and my Mom had a cuckoo clock for years. She died two years ago and the coocko they had died to so he wanted something that reminded him of her. It gives him great peace in the middle of the night.
