I love food baths!
I got tired of cooking food in the dishwasher, all that soap was getting me a headache. I found this food cooking bath hallelujah I can cook my food inside a giant plastic car wash until it is perfectly wet! No more worrying about catching the house on fire with my normal method of throw it in the oven til the smoke detector says it's done! I havnt figured out how to wring out the food of all the water once it's done but problems for another day!

Top of the line sous vide circulator
This sous vide immersion circulator isn't getting enough attention for what it is. I currently have 3 others plus this one and this is my go to primary each and every time. If I can only take one with me, this is it. And I use it for far more than just typical sous vide processing.The quality of the build is just unsurpassed, and you can feel it in the heft, and there's nothing shaky or flimsy about this model. The controls are rock solid, the electronics are first rate, and you can easily pull it apart for cleaning. You don't have to do this often and I've never had a bag break yet [knocking on wood], but I know it happens and it can be a mess to clean up if you can't easily get inside. When dinner is on the line, you don't need to spend 30 minutes trying to get your machine apart, cleaned, and back together.It's also worth noting that the unit is substantially more powerful than even the Polyscience unit, at 1200 watts, and therefore will cook larger baths, come up to temperature faster, and it will recover from cold package much faster. It also means that it will thaw out anything I put in there faster as well. Since it is not uncommon around here to find out that we have last minute company coming for dinner, the ability to thaw things out quickly is a must and very well appreciated. I am not a fan of trying to thaw most things out in a microwave, so using a moderate temperature bath is the ticket. It's amazing how fast you can thaw out a pound of sausage or a package of chicken. 15-20 minutes from rock solid to ready to cook, and that means a very even thaw and not leaving the foods in the danger zone long enough to grow bacteria.I also use this for precooking veggies that I plan to finish with a different method. When I pre cook the veggies up to say 130 and then pull them out for the grill, all they really need to do is finish and get the grill marks.I would also point out for those who haven't noticed that this unit comes with it's cambro tank and lid, and that the lid is precut. Just those two parts cost me over $45 for the last buy and then I spend a couple of hours cutting a rather jagged hole in the lid and hoping that I wouldn't shatter the whole thing. This unit comes with a laser cut lid that is specifically cut for the unit.Please also note the 2 year warranty. This is at least twice as long as any other unit out there. And since their product deals in a wide variety of water qualities and skill sets of people using it, that is a most amazing offer.

WOW!
My wife just bought this for my birthday and of course my first time using it was for Mother's Day for her and my in-laws. I cooked Salmon and have to say that it was one of the best dishes I have ever had in my life! It was cooked perfectly with the seasoning uniformly distributed over the fish. Plus, it was fun to work with and gave me something to do to make me forget my in laws were over. :) I am cooking some filets tonight and can't wait. Setup and cooking is extremely easy and from what I read, almost impossible to over cook anything. As of now, this will definitely have a permanent spot on our kitchen counter.
