These do work, and they work pretty much as well as the metal versions do. There is a downside however, and that is that it requires some maneuvering to get it to seat as the whole thing is silicone instead of having a solid center. You do however get 2 (it does fit a sink and a standard shower drain) and thus a pretty decent deal.

My "crosshairs" in my drain in tub get in the way of truly being able to insert this properly... its a quality product for cheap with fast delivery but i might pick a different design for my specific needs... more surface mount for me and lots and lots of holes so as not to have a backup puddle while showering...

My SO and I both rock very long and thick locks. The worst part of the shower is probably the small animal worth of hair that he ends up shedding afterwards. If any is missed, down the drain it goes. This happens often enough to where showers became my least favorite thing to do. Wash, unclog, repeat.This hair catcher is great! It catches all the hair while remaining firmly in place inside the drain hole. You just lift it out, clean it off, and you’re ready to love showers again!

I've tried similar versions of this product that have worked a lot better than this one.It may be the shape of the curved top, but this strainer doesn't allow water down the pipe as quickly as previous versions. The small one is fine for sinks since the water isn't on as long. I'm currently trying to find a different brand that works better for me.

When I first saw this little device, I was not sure if I wanted to get it or not.But after a week, I changed my opinion about them, they are very useful.If you have a problem with plugged bathroom drains, this could be an item for you to consider. Easy to install, easy to keep clean, this will catch long or bulky hair or debris that could plug the drain over time. It won't catch shaving hair, or other tiny things, but those do not tend to plug drains anyway. If you don't want to be able to plug your drain and fill it, this could be a great solution to keep long or bulky debris from your drain.

It works really well, it catches all the lint along with hair. I just wish you could order the one size you need instead of them sending 2 different sizes and you can only use one.

I never thought I'd ever give 5 stars to a sink stopper, but this thing really works. For years, my bathroom sink had gotten constantly clogged with hair and other debris. This little strainer does catch everything and is easy to clean. I've had zero problems with drain clogs since I started using it.
