I figured by the price that these wouldn't be top of the line in the quality and material departments. I always look at quality compared to cost when I rate items. I knew that I was going to get what I paid for with these. That is why I rated them with a 4 star rating.The quality of the hinges is decent. They aren't the best, but they aren't the worst either. The folded metal is a little sloppy on some of them and the hinge pin is not the best. I also didn't expect perfection at this cost. They are what I expected with what I paid.The Hasps are near garbage. They are press formed and very light weight. They bend super easy and I don't think they would hold up to every day use. The pressing of the metal isn't very good. The pieces are bent and you have to bend them to work properly.The screws are the main reason I bought this item. I needed short screws for the hinged boxed I make. The screws are very small and the screw threads are tiny. They look well constructed and machined really nice. I've used several of them and they seem okay. I did have one head break off without much pressure applied. That would be about a 3% failure rate. Not bad for as small as these are. I would highly recommend pre-drilling holes with these.Overall I think the price is decent and the quality is just okay. So they don't deserve a 5 star, but I think for the price they are decent overall.

This product was exactly what I needed to make a customized dice set and case. The hinge and latches arr just the right touch of class to make my craft classy looking. I am a happy customer.

These are OK but not great. This is because these are stamped sheet metal not cast solid pieces, so they are not as strong as I expected. They did work for a wall-mounted 12x12 display box I made, but I did put on 3 rather than 2 just because they were not as sturdy as expected.

I have a heavy coffee table that slides apart easily and drove me crazy. I tried leaf locks but they're too big to fit. So I got these little guys. When they arrived they seemed really flimsy and easily bent but they're actually holding up great! They're keeping the table locked perfectly and have not bent or broken at all

Used it on one of my boxes and it turned out really nice. The look goes well with some middle to dark stain on the wood and it makes it look antique as well. You will need a small screw driver Philips head to screw the little screws in. They take very well in the wood and I didn't have a problem centering them or centering the mechanism. All in all a great buy.
