I bought this because it was much cheaper than the American made Edge Pro system. As far as I know it is a direct copy. The construction is a little flimsy and I stripped the bolt hole that sets the angle within a few times of using it. Now the angle guide rod won’t lock into place and it’s basically a throw away now. But, I did get an impressive edge on a pocket knife so I know the system (the REAL system) works well enough to pony up the cash for it. I’ll be tossing this one and buy8ng the Edge Pro as soon as I can bring myself to drop the coin on it. I know it will be worth it. Just wish I hadn’t wasted forty bucks on this one.

This sharpener is hot garbage. The suction base does not hold a seal; I tried it on wood, plastic and clean glass but it still pops loose after about 30 seconds.The clamp made to hold the blade still does not apply even half enough pressure to allow sharpening. I tightened it down as hard as I could and i could still move the blade around freely.

This definitely takes some practice to use. Don't expect it to happen so easily, there is a learning curve, plus ask 10 different guys how they sharpen their knives you'll get 10 different answers. It's well-made, although many say you should replace the stones with better quality ones and I agree. Watch a lot of YouTube videos and be patient!

Cheap knockoff. Plastic base holding the rods broke when simply snugged - not even tightened a lot. KI missed the return window. Could not ever recommend this cheap junk.

I’ve ordered this three times and have had to return it each time because a different part is missing. The stones come separated from the plastic backing so you have to immediately reglue them with better glue. Spend your money on the genuine product and don’t waste your time on this clone.

Suction didn’t work at all. I will need to come up with a different way of stabilizing it. Otherwise it works

I'd spend the extra money for a Smith diamond kit and there C clap. You get what you pay for many times and lets face it Chinese quality seldom exceeds expectations. Im not knocking all products made there but this definately did not meet my needs or requirements.

Surprised that at the cost of this that the clamp for the table does not work. Piece of junk.
