I got this pen to help with the process of testing out my various fountain pen inks, and it holds ink well and provides a good smooth line (sometimes a little thick) for a much longer time than I'd have guessed.The color and pattern in the glass are very attractive (reminds me of the glass paperweights that my grandma used to collect), and much more classy than the glitter-filled ones that are more commonly found out there. I do prefer the look of the large bulb style with straight channels to the tip of the "nib", but they don't provide as even a line for writing.The edges of the tip were quite sharp, making it very scratchy when writing I fixed this very easily with a small sheet of ultra-fine sandpaper/emory cloth (1200 grit). I put a piece of sandpaper flat on a tabletop, and gently wiped the tip across it while twisting the pen. After a few sweeps, the edge had smoothed and it was much more comfortable afterward. Be careful not to overdo it.I should mention that this pen is smaller than I had expected (though not really much smaller than advertised). The whole thing fits in my hand. Mine is 7.25 inches long, which is a little shorter than advertised, but for some reason I expected it to be a little heftier. This isn't a problem, just make sure you know what you're getting.

Not only is this pen elegant, but the point is fine. It distributes ink fairly, so i have complete control over the thickness of the line. It really is a beautiful instrument that i enjoy using to create my art. It instills a sense of pride and confidence. None of my previous glass pens have been so beautiful!

I had never used a glass dip pen before and wanted to try one out without spending a lot of money. I love using this thing and it was definitely worth the price. Extremely smooth drawing, doesn’t have that “scratchy” feel of a metal nib. Draws up plenty of ink so you’re not re-dipping every half an inch of line work. I haven’t done any writing with it yet but it’s definitely my go-to for inking sketches. Clean, precise lines for either outlines or crosshatching and (again) very smooth for nice, even curves. Haven’t had any issues with unintentional drips or splatters. It arrived on time, in great condition, and the box is well cushioned with styrofoam for safe storage. 10/10 would definitely buy again and have been recommending it to a lot of artists.

This thing is really nice, good quality glass and when I don't find new ways to make art it can be art all by itself

Color received was not too close to color advertised. There are are few rough spots on stem. At this price, not a concern. It writes okay, but nib needs a bit of conditioning first. If wanting to try a glass nib, this is an okay place to start. Careful with pressure as these break easily.

I bought this for doing dabs. The concentrate would stick to it. The point is so fine it broke because it's delicate.

Overall a nice pen to handle. Balances nicely in my hand. Looks fragile, but looks can be deceiving, as this feels reasonably solid for a glass pen.Wrote a few lines to test this item, writes with a fine line.

Kurzfassung: Alles super, sie schreibt wie sie soll und Preis ist auch okay. Die Farbe im Bild ist aber nicht so, war überrascht, wo ich sie ausgepackt habe.Darum auch 1 Stern Abzug. Das hellblau ist viel blaser. Auf den ersten Blick habe ich im Bild sogar gedacht was von grün und gelb zu sehen, aber das täuscht! Die Feder hat extrem helles Blau(transparentes Eisblau) als Grundkörper und einfach nur weißes und gelbe Ziermuster AUF dem Glas.Ach ja und das Ende vom Stil ist zwar rund aber schief rund geschliffen und auch vom Muster her schlecht verarbeitet.

Ein wundeschönes handgemachtes Produkt, formschön gestaltet mit einerwunderbaren Farbstruktur versehen und ist aus einer ganz feinen, ästhetischen Glasstruktur geformt. Habe viel Freude daran auch nur beim Betrachten der liebevoll ausgeführten Glasfeder.Herzlichen Dank dafür 😊Franz L.
