This is the second time am buying this. The black layer comes off after a couple of months even though I dont use it frequently. Not sure whether it is the defect of the product. When I bought a similar product years back (a different brand and I dont recollec the name) all layers stayed intact even after 3 years of use.

The product works just amazing. It is delicate but when used with care, I can assure you that it would last long. All sides work really good. I did wonders for my broken corners and when my nails get chipped from the top. I can literally fix it with the help of this filer. The filar side is pretty good anf works absolutely fine unlike other filars which works just when its new. I would definitely recommend, just buy it

I am allergic to rough edges on my nails so a nail buffer is a must-have for me otherwise I have to regularly be in a pedicure session. The product is good but the earlier one I was using was Lakme (no longer available wherever I looked) - so I talk only in comparison. Otherwise, there are no complaints at all. The product is very reasonably priced and good to have in the grooming kit.
