L-com 14x10x6 Inch Weatherproof ABS Light-Weight Enclosure Only (NBE141006)

We used this to cover the plug area on the wall for an outdoor fish pond. It was easy to cut a hole in the bottom for the electric cord plug and a hole in the back for the electric outlet. Then we just attached it to the wall of the house, caulked around the edges, covered the elec hole with mesh and perfect!! Now I don't worry about having the elec cord from our pump system plugged in the side of the house and possibly getting wet.

Bought this to enclose control circuits for an outdoor pump station. The stainless steel mounting brackets and screws provided are good quality. However, simply attaching them to the embedded threaded nuts at the rear corners was all it took to crack the box at all 4 locations. Only slight hand torque was applied. Pieces of plastic actually separated completely. To use this enclosure, I bought extruded aluminum angle and screwed it to the side walls of the box for mounting brackets. I would not recommend this product. It can not even be mounted without breaking.

This is a great light use box. I'd imagine the plastic hindges would break rather quickly if you needed to open it more then occassionaly, but for my needs it'll do.

Works and looks as advertised. A good size- other similar units that I saw weren't as deep or large as this unit. I installed this next to my fish tank and put my aquarium controller and a power strip inside of it to keep it from getting any water splashed on it, and to hide all of the wires. Used a hole saw to open a hole in the bottom to run the wires up through. Exactly what I needed.

has stainless mounting hardware for the back, latches are sturdy, kinda lightweight but perfect for , "other than explosion proof" applications. does not cone with back plate.
