Weymouth was just an hour away and quite usually in those days of steam, Sunday saw the recent overhauled engines given their run- in trip from Swindon. GWR ‘County Class’ No. 1004 ‘County of Somerset’ departs for Weymouth as the adjacent branch train for Yeovil Town and Taunton basks in the late afternoon sunlight. See if you can spot ‘Felix’ the ginger tom cat whose owner ran the booking office, he had no fear of the noisy awesome steam engines; it was not unusual for the staff at Weymouth to send him back to Yeovil after his trip to the seaside! The puzzle is a reproduction of the prints that quickly sold out and are highly sought after. This 1000 piece puzzle when completed is approximately 66cm x 50cm (26” x 20”) in size and can be mounted and framed. Re-Issued 2014.
