Best pick I've ever owned.
I've used Tortex picks for over 20yrs. The Yellow(.73) has been my go to for a while, as it gave me the stiffness I needed to solo, and the flexibility I needed to strum well Just a great all round pick. I tried the Jazz III picks, and though I liked the speed and precision, found them them to be a little small for my big paws. Enter the Jaz III XL. I love them. Took a bit of getting used to after using a larger pick for 20+yrs, but after about a week, my old picks now feel clunky in my hands. Love the speed and precision these offer, while still giving me the grip I need. I play 3+ hours per day, and in the month since I've had them, the one pick I've used the entire time is showing very little wear. So they have great memory along with just being a great pick overall.

Perfect shape
Originally I was using standard shape Dunlop .73s and similar. After seeing a lot of recommendations for the Jazz III to help improve fast picking, I tried them out, but found that they were just too dang small. The sharp tip was definitely helpful, but I felt I had to squeeze the pick until my finger joints hurt, just to keep control over them. The Jazz III XL, however, is perfect. It's not really "XL" - it's the same size as an average pick. But the tip will make articulating a quick sequence of notes effortless. The 1mm thickness is where it's at for me - you still get a bit of flex, and can strum just fine, but it's going to give you plenty of control over your picking dynamics and not wear out too fast. If you think you need a smaller pick for pinch harmonics and such, I recommend just choking up your grip on a larger pick instead - you'll have more material in your hand to keep it firmly in place.

Very good guitar picks, almost great
I usually purchase/use the Dunlop Tortex Standard .73 mm, but I decided to give these Jazz III XLs a shot. I was a little worried, since they were smaller than the Standard, but I adapted to them quickly. Same great feel and grip as the Standard, and .73mm remains a good thickness for me. The one down mark on these Jazz IIIs is the printing on them, both sides, smudges very quickly, on every one I've used from this purchase, so far. I've never had that happen with the Standard. The printing eventually rubs off on the Standards, after a LOT of use, but never smudges. I'm wondering if I got a bad batch of Jazz IIIs. Again, everything else about them, the important things, is fine, I just find the smudged ink odd and annoying, thus one star off. I'd still recommend them.

Great texture and weight and a good value for your money
My son loves these pics. The thickness and weight are perfect. He really likes the grip on them. He says it helps him. It’s just got a really nice texture to it. He is a beginner guitar player if that gives you any idea. Pretty good value for the money from what I’ve seen. Especially because he’s a teenager and loses him like crazy. Give him a try you won’t be disappointed

My favorite pick
These are my go to pick to play anything heavy or with pinch harmonics. I love these dang things! Easily my favorite

Grip and Size
For awhile I've been having issues with my picking and I suspected that it was due to the fact that the standard pick tended to slip out of my hands while playing. That turned out to be true because I ended up buying these picks because I knew because of the material the Tortex picks were pretty decent at staying in my fingers. Of course, there was still some slippage, but the little that happens to me during playing is so minor that I can fix it in the middle of a song. Also, I did change up my technique a bit but I've grown to like these picks because of their smaller size as well as their ability to strum and play individual notes for soloing just fine. As for durability, I've had these for a about a month or two and they seem to be holding up fine but time will tell. If I experience any issues with these I'll probably come back and change my review in the future.
