Used this on our RV kitchen with a cutting board. Seems sturdy enough and easy to use. You need to leave 1-2 ml of room for the hinges to operate, as pictured. Also, one of the screw heads broke off, so don’t be haphazard when screwing them in

This worked out fine for me, it's because I have installed shelf brackets before. There were no installation instructions included. There are a total of 14 screw-holes (8 wall and 6 shelf) on the brackets but there were only 10 half-inch screws in the package and are not sufficient for any wall-mount shelf, let alone one with the drop-leaf which requires lifting on the clips to release tension. It would tear off the wall the first time. Because I installed it on wall studs with my own hardware, it will be sturdy. If you're a novice, not for you.

We used this to add to our counter top and it worked GREAT.

In comparison to similar products, this product was not very sturdy. I was not able to use it and was not able to return it, so it was a waste of my money.

The brackets are great, but it was missing another the other pack of screws for the other bracket
