Actiontec Electronics Screen Beam Mini2 - Wireless Video Receiver

We use this little gadget in a building where there is no Wi-Fi. Our Samsung S5, S6 and S7 all detect this and cast in HD to the TV. There has never been any stutter in the video playback. This enables your phone to cast a screen mirror onto your TV. Since Samsung made the S7 phones onwards, they stopped the ability of connecting your phone with a cable. This screenbeam mini gets around this.

AVOID, AVOID,AVOID. If it was possibke not to give and stars ir minus stars I definetly would give it a minus. So having been sent a replacement as the first one stopped working. The second one was hit and miss. Forgot about it for a few months came back to it and can't get beyond connecting you now. Oops something went wrong. As it happens I'm now a month over the return date. AVOID, AVOID ,AVOID ABSOLITE RUBBISH FOR THE A PRICEY USELESS DEVICE.

Works very well with my Samsung s7 edge. Glad l bought it!!

It works when it wants to so not a full proof solution and the graphics are jittery. I would not recommend this device to be honest. I means very easy to install and use and it’s fairly automatic even without a transmitter and using windows 10 connect feature - but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. So it works with my tv after the third attempt and continues to work but my conference monitor, it has never worked with the same laptop but I know the hdmi ports works and the usb has power - it appears to be pot luck so may return it.

I'm using the device to cast the smartphone screen on TV. It's useful if your smartphone supports natively screencast. And it enables your TV to receive the image. It's very easy to setup, almost plug in and play.The quality of image is very good.

Horrible product which stopped working after 3 month. Waste of your time

Great product works when I camp with no mobile data. A bit expensive for what it is ..picture of say is not very good .

L'ho acquistata per rendere il mio televisore un po' più smart. Semplice da configurare e prestazioni eccellenti. Nessun lag audio / video, i contenuti vengono trasmessi al televisore in modo perfetto. Esiste un lieve ritardo fra quello che si vede sul telefono ed il mirroring sul televisore ma penso sia normale. Lo uso con Huawei P20 pro che gira su Android 8.1, non si disconnettere mai. Un aiuto per chi usa vpn per lo streaming di contenuti: dovete usare Open Vpn per Android. Per prima cosa collegare il telefono allo screenbeam senza vpn attiva, poi attivare Open Vpn per Android, il telefono si disconnetterà dalla screenbeam, mantenere attiva la connessione Open Vpn e ricollegare il telefono a screenbeam. Ottimo prodotto, ma non permette lo streaming da Netflix né Amazon prime video né DAZN a causa dell'implementazione della protezione DRM di suddette applicazioni.

Utilise avec Lumia 950. Objet inutile, pas stable, déconnexions fréquentes, nombreuses applis (météo par ex) hors Microsoft ne sont pas prises en compte et ne peuvent donc pas être vues sur écran, le déplacement de la souris sur l'écran téléphone est peu aisé. On peut regarder YouTube mais la télé c'est impossible, peut être suis je incompétent. Prévoir une bonne alimentation de la clé sinon elle n'est pas détectée.

Il n'y a qu'une seule photo et la description du produit ne suffit pas. C'est jusqu'à son arrivée que la boîte indique que cela ne fonctionne que pour Android et Windows et j'en ai besoin pour iOS. De plus, il n'indique pas les dimensions du produit et il est très grand pour l'espace de ma télévision.

Il dispositivo funziona alla grande quando lo uso per collegare il mio Samsung S7 Edge alla TV ma purtroppo non sono riuscito a collegare il PC. Essendo la mia necessità principale proprio legata al collegamento tra smartphone e TV ho tenuto il dispositivo.

direi il migliore mai provato... perfetto in tutto di velocissimo collegamento.. richiede una alimentazione usb ma si connette in modo veloce e sempre puntuale. mai un problema consigliato
