I've found this pedal perfect for layering guitar chords and riffs over the top of each other. It does exactly what I was hoping for and it's fairly easy to get to grips with straight off. I use a Fender Mustang 4 modelling amp and have 3 seperate guitar sounds that I can choose on the fly through the Fender footswitch, if I plug the Jamman looper pedal into the FX send and return in the back of the amp I can record different guitar sounds on the different layers on the pedal as I go which is what I was hoping for. If you prefer not to use a modelling amp then the footswitch plugs into the input channel like you would expect. I mention that because I spent a great deal of time looking for that information when I first got the pedal:) You can get cheaper looper pedals, there are lots of them around but I wanted a pedal that was robust and would last for a long time, this pedal seems well made and I'm 'hoping' it lasts for a long time.

Great unit. But I use it mainly for playing wav files as backing tracks! I found it difficult to get loops to loop without a glitch. That's my lack of skill not the unit I think! I have filled it with 200 backing tracks and I use the footswitch to select them! Great!

A very well made pedal with loads more functions and storage than I will need. I took of one star because I had to but the optional footswitch to stop the loop as the "double tap to stop" function was proving difficult to time perfectly.

Great little looper for the price, if you get the optional foot pedal it makes it twice as useful. Easy to use, can store tracks on a computer to upload to pedal later. Can expand the internal memory with an SD card. I use it all the time

Really easy to operate and has a single play store option so you can click it to play a pre recorded rhythm while you solo and no need too witch it off when you go back to playing Rhythm again
