Package arrived in good condition, 4 days ahead of schedule. The fit is good. The downside/reason for 3 star is the vibram sole. It is cery slippery on wet surfaces. If merrell could use the same extra grippy vibram that hoka uses, it would be much better and most if all, much safer.

Great for hiking right out of the box! Highly recommend!!

This is the preferred boot for the Boy Scouts High Adventure Camp - Northern Tier in Minnesota/Canada. My son wore these for two weeks, in the water every day while canoeing. No blisters, no trench foot. A couple of his fellow scouts wore "other" boots and suffered the consequences. Same boots made it to the top of Angel's Landing in Zion National Park and hiked there Narrows there as well. I would recommend these all day long.

Merrell boots, especially the Moab, are really the most comfy lightweight hikers made, in my humble opinion. I have work many others, but every few years when I upgrade this boot, I'm reminded just how well they are made. In a world of diminishing quality in almost every shoe, pant, shirt, etc., Merrell has continued to provide outstanding quality & workmanship in their products.
