Great Panel Mount Plug But How to Reach Plug to Soldier
I suppose for many, the use of a spanner wrench to disconnect the plug from the base is obvious. But if you don't have a collection of spanner wrenches you can use a small screwdriver - as shown in the photo attached. The product itself is perfect for my needs.

These are a good connector for water tight connections.

Worked great
The plastic didn't melt while soldering, and the pins took the solder nicely. Nice gaskets to prevent water from entering.

I used the male and female version to add a battery bank to my paxcess portable solar generator.

The "stem" is too short to mount it in any panel thicker than couple millimeters.
Very short "stem". It should work just fine to mount it on a very thin panel. I was trying to mount it in a lid of one of typical "project boxes" bought on Amazon. To make the thread catch I had to manually squeeze the O-ring. I was able to make one turn on the nut. Not enough. Just pulling out the plug pulls out the entire base.

Good solid connector.
A solid connector , for a good price. It uses a fine tread , makes it a little difficult to get the nuts or cap on. Would not like to do that outdoors in a freezing cold. The lanyard is a little clumsy. But for this price, I'm OK with it. Will use more of this brand.
