I typically wear a seven and a half or an eight. I ordered a 8. they are only slightly loose. With a little heavier sock ( boots are thin material) the 8 is good for me.

The boot tread is fine in snow and ice. I wear several pairs of warm heavy socks with them because they are not insulated.
