The provided template plate that you insert the two halves into before positioning is a great idea. This made install so much easier and faster than the old lever style locks I was using. Cabinets open easily with the magnet key. You don’t even need to touch the cabinet with the magnet. Mine can be almost an inch away and it unlocks. I put one of these on a closet door and the magnet still unlocks through the door. Pretty good quality so far, all plastic but normal for child proof systems. Works well, fits great and keeps cabinet doors tighter than the old style I used (baby fingers can’t reach in when latched)The sticky tape is pretty strong but I used the provided screws after positioning because tape can fail or rip off paint etc. You need to be careful positioning it cause that tape doesn’t want to let go though, make it hard to remove.I like that you can flip a switch on the lock and it stays open so when kids are grown you don’t necessarily have to go around and undo all your cabinet locks…. Just flip the switch and your cabinets act like normal.I bought a second set. Love em

If i could give this more stars I would.Ridiculously easy install without hardware (though it did come with hardware!) My husband did not want to drill into our cabinets but I really wanted magnetic locks, as our cabinets do not have handles. These child locks were perfect and I genuinely appreciate the install video and the warning that sometimes the metal clicker gets stuck and how to fix it! It only happened to two of mine and I found shaking it prior to install helped, but I did have to move them over a few inches. (Metal in the door or something)?Also thankful it came with 20 locks, 2 magnets, and stickers to mark the location of the locks for easy identification and opening. And completely invisible if you dont use the stickers!

These magnetic cabinet locks are perfect for baby-proofing! They were super easy to install with the adhesive backing—no drilling needed. They hold strong and keep my toddler from opening drawers and cabinets. I feel much safer knowing everything is secure. Great product and a must-have for parents with young children!

After trying several non-magnetic ones and not being happy with any of them for a variety of reasons, we thought we’d try this one after reading other reviews. I am incredibly happy with how they turned and the strength of the 3M adhesive. No matter how hard our 11 month old tugs on them, they will not open. The magnetic key is effortless to use as seen in my video. It comes with stickers for placement so you know where to place it when unlocking but I didn’t find that necessary as I installed them myself and the position is easy to see as the drawers still open about a half inch before being blocked so you’ll see where to put it anyway. 5/5 stars for sure, highly recommend for anyone looking for an easy install with a high effectiveness of keeping your littles out from drawers or cabinets they shouldn’t be in.

These magnet cabinet locks do a great job keeping our cabinets secure and childproof. They’re easy to use and very effective at preventing little hands from getting inside. My only wish is that the 30-pack included more magnets, so I wouldn’t have to keep going to the kitchen to unlock cabinets in the bathroom. Still, a solid product that gives me peace of mind. Four stars because of that minor inconvenience.

I can’t attest to how these hold up over time because I have only just installed them today, and I’m never one to write reviews, but these were so incredibly easy to install. The included written directions made no sense to me, but after watching the installation video I was able to get all of these installed super quickly. Not only was the installation process a breeze, they also work really well and keep my toddler out of our kitchen cabinets. They even worked on my kitchen drawers as well! I applied one to a drawer that had a wooden front that was too thick for the magnet to work on and getting it off of the drawer took some muscle, but was relatively easy to do and did not damage my drawer at all. There was extra 3M strips included so I was able to peel off the old one and apply the new one super easily. I also love that you can’t tell our cabinets are baby proofed; I hate the tacky cabinet locks that you can see from the outside and these have been PERFECT. 10/10 recommend!

The media could not be loaded. These are so fantastic and sleek!!! They work flawlessly and we don't have to worry about babies in cabinets they aren't supposed to be in!!!! Best buy we have made for baby safety in a while. It super simple you just use the sticky pads which work really well or secure them to the cabinets with screws they provide with the locks. Best buy for the money spent and the kids are safe... They also sent stickers to mark where to put the magnet but we decided not to use them. It is very easy to open you just put on of the two magnets they send to unlock it. As far as where you put them you can put them wherever works best for you. We did most on the top of the cupboards and some on the bottom.

I was skeptical when I bought these, as I am of most things I buy on Amazon nowadays. I’ve had the locks installed in my kitchen for 4 months, and I am pleasantly surprised with how well they’ve worked.They were easy to install using the sticky back, and they’re strong enough to withstand our toddler tugging on them; I think you’d need an adult to REALLY yank a door to rip one off.Using the magnets to unlock the cabinets is actually really easy. We try to keep one on the fridge and one on the dishwasher, but we bought a couple spares because we tend to leave them in random places, so I’d recommend doing the same if you have a habit of losing things.This is not low-quality Amazon junk; this is a product that does exactly what it says.
