Good TV box with a must have 4gb ram
This MX10 is the second one I have owned. I bought it because my previous one quit after a year. The 4gb ram is a must for me because I download many apps and use the MX10 for everything from banking to writing proposals.Cutting the cord is important for me and I am able to stream all the content I want at reasonable quality.I only use a remote mouse and rarely a keyboard. The remote that comes with it is not useful to me.Setup is super easy because it is similar to all the 6 android TV boxes I have had.The stock launcher is OK but I don't use it. I use one that has better folder support. For $75 bucks I get 1 year warrantee and enough computing power to satisfy all my needs to retire my tower and laptop. Now we have to see if the hardware lasts.

HUGE improvement! Near PERFECTION!
I just got this today and I'm giving this a solid 5 out of 5. Here's why (not in particular order):I owned the previous model for several months. They are both identical on the outside but not in the inside. Before I get into that, here's what I like about this:1. Ergonomics. It is shaped similarly to a smartphone. Feels good in hand and not awkward with unusual bumps and curves. The underside is smooth with no buttons to to get in the way.2. Button layout. It has a numerical pad which is omited in many other brands. The rest of the functions are layed out logically and is easy to commit to muscle memory.3. Air mouse. It has it. It works.4. Keyboard and touchpad. This is where it really stands out. The surface works as a touch keyboard and trackpad. You switch between the two with a button on the side of the device. There is minimal space outside of the keyboard so your thumbs can naturally reach the keys as you would a smart phone. Fantastic. The trackpad uses the entire surface making this the largest touchpad I have ever used. Also great.5. Backlight. It has 3 brightness settings or off. All the buttons are lit.6. Proprietary battery and USB charging.7. 4 programmable buttons and off button. Standard stuff.Next is what I don't like:1. The keyboard is not backlit. This is by far its weakest point because it is impossible to use at night whereas other nontouch keyboards make it somewhat possible with muscle memory. If it had backlighting, it would've even looked beautiful. That is it. Why I am giving this 5 out of 5 instead of 4 is because the previous model was identical but was riddled with bugs. I was able to get by knowing how to work around each bug but it was impossible for someone else to use it for the first time and know what to do. This model fixed all of them. Thanks to that, I have a lot of respect for this company. I will check again one day for a new model that has a backlit keyboard.

Has some issues
I think it is still under development and not a finished product. For instance, from time to time it starts acting out random stuff such as highlighting all the files in the file explorer or not giving you the right click menu. I tried it on two computers with similar problems. I had to reboot the computer for the wireless keyboard to work properly. But then after an hour, I would get the same problems. The battery life is very bad and it literally does not give you more than 1 minute of warning before it stops working altogether. The plus was that I really like the idea of rotating the keyboard and it recognizing where the top and bottom is.

Works exactly as described but is a little quirky.
I use this air mouse on my windows 7 computer for media functions. Configures easily, plug and play and the keyboard functions all work just like my windows keyboard. Only downside that I have discovered so far is that you can adjust the default sleep time for the mouse as it seems very short, like 60-90 seconds even if your scrolling on the desktop, requiring you to depress the air mouse function button in order to continue. Mouse functions work well but takes a little time to get used to, can be a little quirky.

Works Good
It works great for a $15 remote..I bought it to use with my Nvidia Shield. The remote that comes with it is real small and sensitive with the volume..The Air Mouse isn't calibrated perfectly but it works...the only thing that I don't like is no button for voice..I'm was considering sending it back for the reason..but it looks good...keyboard works well...and it's simple just like I wanted

Best specs on an Android 8.1 box
This box has the best specs I could find for one with Android 8.1 and runs better than I thought. I have had no problems running anything and that's likely due to th 4GB RAM and 32GB of storage this TV box has. I have it connected with an Ethernet cable for the best speeds and can stream and play 4K videos with no problem. Overall a great buy, especially when paired with an air remote.

Impossible to use with wireless
I got the box to test and compare to other Kodi boxes. So far, this has been the hardest to use and the worst for wireless connection. Wireless was so bad even though I have it sitting 4 feet from my high speed router that I could not test it without being plugged into the ethernet port. No way to put favorite apps on front screen. Other than that, it works great to replace expensive cable options.

The unit died
After less than 2 months of service the box died and shows no signs of life. Unfortunately I drilled some holes in it to improve the ventilation as the CPU temperature was very high and added an external fan to reduce the temp. The unit's response was fast but there were some problems which came with the software installed some of which were easily correctable and some that were not. I would not recommend this unit.
